The thing is, I am not trying to project, it is just happening and I can tell when I am starting to.  Is there is any reason it is now happening at this stage in my life.  I am in my early thirties.  I just dont know why It is happen now?

Today, I experienced my 2nd projection.  Since, my first projection last month, I have had several near projections.  I have come close, I have gotten the feeling as if my body was partially being pull towards the sky, this time I started to feel the same feeling and I thought to myself, let my consciousness project, and at that moment it was as if I was being pulled through space.  Then  I arrived at what appeared to be an arid climate place very similar to to the American southwest.  I started to wonder around just looking at everything.  But, this place was of a green color scheme.  As I walked into a small valley, it all changed.  I then started to to see or receive various images and scenes, most I could not explain or even understand.  It felt as if the whole experience lasted about 30 minutes, but I am not really sure.  I welcome any and all information and comments.  Thanks. Thanks for the reply's.  Throughout the day I have not stopped thinking about what happen and I have found myself, trying to find more answers.  If anyone has anything else to add, please feel free.  I am open to learning as much as I can.  Any books that you can recommend will also be great.  Again Thanks astro_pup

I have not a clue what I just experienced!  This is the first website I found when i googled the term "out of body experience".  I have never studied or be interested in this matter or anything else associated with this subject.  But what just happened to me felt to real to be a dream but yet it to obscured to be real?!  Any help or explanation to my experience would be greatly appreciated.

I just woke up from a brief minute from a restless sleep as usual.  When I laid down I was falling asleep, but it was not a deep sleep, the conscious sleep that I usually receive throughout the night.  Then all the sudden I felt really weird, it was as if I could see into space, and then it appeared as if my spirit came out of my body and i was hovering about 5 feet above my as I laid there "asleep". But, I was not looking at myself in the present, but I was about 12 or 13, back when I was sharing a room with my two brothers?! 

The all of the sudden it was as if I just started to fly towards and trough space, so at what appeared to be faster then the speed of light and some times I was just sight seeing.  As I was making turns while I was traveling, I could feel the g forces on my body.  I could see all the planets, stars and different galaxies.  I then traveled faster then the speed of light, as it seemed, back towards earth. 

Once, I returned to earth, i was flying around, what appeared to me a city in the middle east, then I traveled to a modern city in the middle east, it looked like Dubai.  I have spent time in Dubai and other parts of the middle east in the past with the military.  I then return to my body.  But it seemed like it was hard for me to wake up or return to consciousness.  But when I did wake up, I felt very energetic and like I have slept for 12 hours uninterrupted.
