It's funny that people of now predict about the future and they are believed...  but people often fail to see the obvious that is at hand.

Ancient cultures have dominated the super natural subjects for centuries.
There is no such thing as a 2012 related catastrophe because it is in the number 2012. It is a christian number, hardly the ending of the world has something to do with faith, for dinosaurs didn't believe in a god and they all died anyway. Numbers can always be calculated backwards, people see connections when they want to.

The fact remains the the mayan calender and the egyptian calender both ended at our 2012, of course they didn't call it that way. If you see on what reasons they based their theories they sound very sensible. In the same text they refer to the easter islands, no human could have moved such a large piece of rock and so on with the examples.

Whatever will happen, the maya culture has seen what it was and took it with them in their grave. I also noticed nobody wonders where the maya got their information, because if you take a good look, you will notice.. they kind of pop out of nowhere...

Just a quick mindbreaker here..

Ok, so we receive radio signals from another culture on another planet, as we all know radio waves do not travel that fast, and the nearest solar system which has possibillities of having life if 4 million light years away. Now if these messages where actually broadcasted from such a planet then even if we travel at the speed of light to them we would be hundred million years too late.

We shouldn't waste our time peering into the sky and hoping for a spike on our screen, but we should decipher the oddities we have here on earth, like the coherence between the mayan the egyptian and the indian culture and the number 72, and such matters.

Because if an sophistaticated alien race really wants to contact us, they will do it in person, it's a lot quicker....

I've been reading up a bit and it strikes me that a lot of you are very religious. I have nothing against religion, only I dont believe in god, ar a god. This maybe because I am more of a scientific person but that is not the point.

It's a good question, why would anyone serve a higher being, what if there is no higher being? People are so consumed with their religion that they see things non believers dont see.. a sign of god or just something that happens.

All I know is that the story about christ is not true, I dont want to convince you into stopping to believe. But look at the facts... there where explenations for all the things he did thousands of years before christ was born. And the fact that he had a brother and a wife is not mentioned in the bible. Also check on the findings of Leonardo Da Vinci, the church burned over 20,000 of his notes to keep something from being discovered. the church also prosecuted and sentanced to death renowned scientists from all over the world, and even now they dont want to talk about it.

Just to emphasize there is a fine line between the christian religion and the christian church. The entire god thing sounds like a nice story to me instead of an actual truth, which will undoubtably reveal itself in a couple of years.

The question is in fact; what does faith have to do with the essence of a person.. is a believer the only one who can "see the light"? Or can some people, like Da Vinci be so far ahead of their time that they see it as well

Maybe I can give you a bit of intell. Some scientist believe they have found what they believe could be atlantis in the harbour of alexandrie; in egypt. They discovered large statues and temples under water, that sank because of poor land structure below the structures.

If you want to need more I suggest looking up something about the site they are working on in egypt, I dont know if there are any internet pages about it...

I've been reading a bit on what you have to say about this prophesy of gifted children.
I have an opinion that is a bit bigger then a book but I'll keep it short.

Gifted children cannot win a war, believing and faith has no relevance what so ever. What matters and who matter are the ones that are able to see what the meaning is, how to deal with it efficient and who have the intelligence the cope with it all.

the true "children" do not have faith, they dont believe in a god. They know deep down that they are different and have a seperate "destiny" so to speak for themselves.

Reading a book wont save the world...
