So i've been doing a lot of meditation recently, and have noticed that when I keep my internal mind chatter quiet, and be in the, 'now' as much as possible, different chakras open and close spontanously thoughout my body, giving me an influx of refreshing energy.

Now, I don't consider myself a chakra expert, but is this normal? I'm sure it is, but any feedback would be welcomed

Thanks in advance :-)

What is the famous line, that life is based upon our intentions 8-)

I've always believed, that while thoughts create beliefs, and as a result a belief can be changed, a belief can turn into an intent.

Once it's an intent, that doesn't change. Once you moved your hand, that's it. it's moved. Can't go back
(if that makes sense)

Thanks for this good post

Heres something which cropt up recently in my life, something that I wish to share to help...

I was involved in a situation at work, which changed my whole outlook on life, so much so, that my EGO (for the first time) went quiet.

I was involved in a job, which included data entry. It's not a bad job, but it can be very busy at times. One particular day, I was going about my business as usual, noticing the time, and seeing how long I had left before the end of my work-shift.

Now I'm a time watcher, and I don't want to rush things last minute (done that before...no fun!). I wanted to make sure that I've got at least 15 to 30 mins before I go home, to basically wind down. Rushing at the last minute is not my cup of tea (and it's mentally exhausting).

But as I was going through the day, I noticed that some parts of my job weren't being done, and I was going into a right emotional storm.

Put simply, by the time mid-afternoon came up, I was in an emotional state. I knew that there was more work for me to do, but it wasn't being done.

Now, I consider myself a deeply spiritual person, always believing in a higher plan, always ready to try and see the good side of a bad situation. I shouldv'e remained calm, as I knew better!

But I couldn't...

I worked myself up into a complete emotional frenzy, that I simply couldn't concentrate on the task in hand. As a result, my workload suffered. I simply couldn't focus. I was panicking, really scared that I was going to have loads to do before going home....

I didn't know what to do...and I was turning into an emotional wreck!

Spiritual truths were flung out of the window. Fear gripped me. I simply couldn't get a grip. I was even scared of losing my job, for fear that I might have been judged for being too slow!!!

Then around 4pm, a thought hit me, which changed everything...

I had heard of the truth, that everything in life is a metaphor. I sort of understood it, and understood that no event had any meaning, apart from the meaning you attach to it. Simply put, in every moment of now, there is an outcome, and that's it. No hidden meaning, unless you want to attach one yourself. Life is a process of outcomes, not meanings (if you can see this perspective).

But a new thought was suddenly flung into my conscious. Perhaps it was soul trying to help a dying EGO, perhaps it was me trying to find a deeper truth in a midst of perceived madness, I don't know.

But the thought was this...

'The real teaching isn't how well you listen to the message, after all, the message might be a bad message, a loud message or a blunt message; but how you REACT to the message. That is the teaching of life'

This thought hit me, and I was stunned! Suddenly, peace resumed, my EGO quieted down, and I said to myself, 'Just do what you can do. Don't worry about any outcomes, just try your best'

I said that to myself, finished my day, and peace followed me until the evening. It's a teaching that I won't forget in a long time.

It's easy to get caught up in work stress. It's very easy to lose the present moment, and indulge in negative mental chatter, but the real teaching of life is how we react to these situations. Don't forget, fear is over a perceived threat, not the problem itself. When the problem takes place, you can be annoyed, angry, irritated, disgusted, or even bitter. But you cannot be afraid, as the emotion of fear is the only emotion of the future.

The same situation will simply keep appearing, day in, day out, until we react appropriately and maturely (and hopefully more spiritually and calmly)

Then the soul goes onto other adventures....

Hopefully you'll be inspired by this. Let me know what you think. The thought certainly helped me :-)

There's a book that really helped me lately, it's "The power of now" by Eckart Tolle. It's simple, rational yet spiritual and effective!

Fantastic, fantastic book. Got the audio version. Life seems to make so much sense when you read it :-) :-)

I believe that one of the goals of life should be to seek your inner self for this sort of proof. Seeing is believing. Try to see.

continuing from my last post, I suspect that this is how it will end up...just personal verification.

same old topic, my same old answer ...

:-D

Looks like a good read. It would be nice to have more scientific evidence on the subject, but apart from subjects reporting with high degree of accuracy what they have seen while out of body, what else is there?

I mean, at the risk of sounding stupid (forgive me if I am) but exactly how do you measure, 'consciousness' (if you know what I mean)

Thanks for the link- will be reading that in more detail later today  :-)

I feel a little guilty when I start talking to my dog in English... I feel like I ought to be speaking Chinese.

Sorry...didn't mean to make you feel guilty

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: A New Experiment
March 16, 2013, 09:37:06
Well done...what an experiment.

I can only (loosly) envy you. (and I mean that in a nice way)

Theoretically, it's good to have some sort of sleep deprivation training, I suppose, in case a disaster takes place...(and I live near a river, so sometimes in can rise up and you are on flood alert...and naturally, nearly always at the early hours of the morning)

However, I've done the complete opposite in the last month, and have tried to get a good 8-9 hours of sleep during the weekdays, compared to the last 9 years, where (due to stress and anxiety, and my job) I would get 4-5 hours tops

Between the two, I choose more sleep than less sleep any day of the week. That feeling of pure freshness (if you get what I mean) is a feeling that you can't beat!

However, well done for what you did. I can appreciate the relaxed aspects when the body was really tired. (not sure if this is by design, but I'm sure it is)

Good Morning Pulsers,

These days, after I'm done with my dreams diary, around 9:00 AM, I go into the woods behind my house. There's a little trail, a brook and a little bridge. It's cold here in January and I put my snowshoes and I walk a bit around. You don't meet people often around so I figured it would be a perfect place to meditate and sing mantras. My main goal is to project love in all directions... I speak, I may whistle and I do mantras and visualize my projections. I won't get into details, this isn't my concern. Well, you may have figured, but this morning I was totally into my singing that I didn't notice that people were coming my way. I was singing "Serenity for the world!" and an old woman begged me pardon to cross the bridge. I felt a rush of embarrassment and I said sorry and she crossed the bridge with her husband and their dog as I added "I know it may be strange, but I'm performing my little ritual". She said "No that's good". I had already planned what I would if it happened, but still I felt very uncomfortable, I tried to calm down, reassuring myself. I finished my ritual, still felt a bit shaky and returned home. I don't want to be labeled a freak... but I also want to be who I am, to do the things that makes me happy... this could be enough for me not to go back there. What would you do in my place? How would you react if you saw someone doing that while you took a walk in the woods? I need some thoughts on this! Thanks and I wish you a beautiful day!

As far as I'm concerned, by what you described, you've done nothing wrong! No need to feel embarrassed at all. What is wrong with you singing anyway?

I live near a canal, and there are many walkers and cyclist. I will tell you now, (and I don't mean to be awful when I say this) but I would rather see someone singing and whistling a tune, then talking quite openly to their dog, even having a conversation. To me, that is borderline weird...

But singing, not a problem. You have every right to sing. Embarrassment is natural when the lady wanted to go accross the bridge, but she seemed fine about it afterwards (according to your description)

Nothing to worry about (don't get like me... it's me who worries about things like this...and when I mean worry, I go way past the embarrassment stage   )

My anxiety is pretty much gone. Not so much my panic attacks but I can control them enough now to where I promised I wouldn't let them ruin my life anymore.

I'll drop by when I can, I am super busy! Just wanted to let you all know I haven't left. Take care everybody. =D

From a guy who suffered from anxiety attacks myself, well done!

Keep up the good work :-)

There is...but I always find it difficult to gain visual clarity at night than during the day;-)

Thankyou so much...Still thinking about the fear part of this thread (will be re-listening to ET, 'The power of now', because I'm sure there is a section on there about fear and awareness;-)

Hopefully I'll do more article type post for you guys...thanks for your kind words...it inspires me to write more :-)

I respect and understand the points, but I have a question...

What is the difference between feeling fear of a percieved threat/situation, and simply being aware of an outcome.

For eg One doesn't get scared of placing a hand over a naked flame, becuase one knows, or is, 'aware' that their hand will get burnt.

Does this make sense? (let me know if it doesn't;-)
#15
That's a good point...

Reminds me of what NDW says, 'fear is 'False Evidence Appearing Real''.

But there are people who I'm studying who say that they are completely absent of fear...so who knows?

Is it really impossible, in a lifetime, to remove all fear?

Food for thought;-)

#16
Very true!

It begs the question? Does the master ever feel fear, or is the feeling of fear at an all time low?
#17
Thankyou so much for your kind words. Hard to believe, but I'm still practising courage now. It's definately one of my weaker muscles;-)

I thought I would share 5 things which I have observed are simple, yet powerful tools to use for the creation of desires (and it helps you feel better...two for the price of one!) See what you think. (These things have helped me over the last 6 months...hopefully they'll inspire you;-)

Meditate for an hour each day

This one seems like a big pain in the backside, but strangely, once you do it, you do feel great afterwards. I tend to cheat slightly. I'm very lucky to have access to some meditation CD's, which I've had for several years, and that reduces my brainwaves to the Theta or Delta state, where I can visualize healing as well as visualize my ideal desires in life. Meditation may seem like a bore, but it's not to be messed with;)

Do things with more feeling of love behind them!

I read a book which profoundly changed my whole outlook on life. The book itself wasn't big (I read it in a day!) but it's implications were huge, and it was so painfully obvious where I had been going wrong in my life, from living in fear and being paranoid, to just distancing people in my personal life (including friends and family). Fear holds you back, and is the only feeling based in the future. Love lets go, and is always based in the present (Oh, you can imagine in your mind a futuristic event, but let's be honest, imagination to one side, you are always in the present moment of now) Actually feeling love deliberately during the day I've noticed, allowed synchronicities to take place in your favour more frequently as well. Interesting...

Be more courageous

I was watching a video online, and there was a video about courage. But what struck me, was how little I became since I've been in a job. Courage is like a muscle. It needs to be exercise, or it gets weaker. How do I know? Because I still suffer (a tiny bit) from paranoia and OCD. Courage allows you to have and increase mental strength. Like your brain, if you don't nurture it (i.e. do something slightly uncomfortable at least once a day, or go outside of your comfort zone) you won't increase it, and before you know it, an opportunity for growth, or healing passes you by.
To get anything out of life, you need desire. To get going with that desire, you need a plan. To get started with that plan, you need courage. Courage to try something new, or courage to keep going, when the going gets tough!

Be more disciplined

This is a big one for me, because I reckon I'm one of the most least disciplined individuals on this planet. The worst thing is, I know it, yet it's very difficult to change. I'm currently using NLP and EFT to help change my subconscious and my beliefs, so I can be more disciplined in my life, and as a result, help more people. Discipline is a very unused talent that we all have. Most successful people have it (arguably, that what makes them a success!) But when push comes to shove, it is the disciplined person that normally wins.

Always have a routine/ritual/self-discipline when it comes to your goals. This itself will put you above most people in the world!

Be more forgiving!

It's very well trying to be disciplined, trying to be more focused in your goals, having courage, and even finding the time to meditate (what a program!!!) But without the knack of forgiveness, you are going no where fast!

'What has forgiveness got to do in the acquiring of your goals?' you may ask. Simple! Forgiveness allows your inner peace to return, allowing you to concentrate on the job at hand. Without forgiveness, you are going to be very emotionally and mentally conflicted. How can you concentrate on your goals, when you keep thinking about that person who swore at you, because you accidentally cut in front of them in traffic? You keep thinking about it, rather that letting the event go, and using your mind for more important things. Forgiveness also helps you become more unconditionally loving, which some people would say, is one of the main reasons we are on this planet (spiritually speaking)

Forgive as much as you like. It's a free tool, that not many people are aware of. The benefits?  Happier, healthier (and in some cases) wealthier lifestyle!

Hopefully you'll be inspired by this. Please feel free to pass on any feedback, or comment. I would love to hear from you!

Hiya,

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this (if it isn't, my apologies) here goes...

Last year I attempted to make my first product about the law of attraction, and needless to say, after some constructive feedback, I decided to go back to the drawing board and start again.

I emailed my list and listened to what they said, and decided to do a video course instead, based not on theory, but my own personal experiences.

I also decided to make shorter videos, most lasting under 10 mins. Here is a rundown on this course, which will be called, 'Manifestation Insights Revealed'

Video 1 (10:47)  Introduction into the Law of Attraction - What consciousness is and how it relates to the law of
                                                                                         attraction
                                                                                       - The 4 modes of creation

Video 2 (11:07)  Being Present                                       - Why this is crucial to the law of attraction
                                                                                       - A great exercise to get into the present moment

Video 3 (7:10)    Astral Projection                                   - Why this helps with the law of attraction
                                                                                       - How this helps with your mindset

Video 4 (8:44)    Don't Give Up!                                      - Why you never give up!
                                                                                       - The mechanics of the thought
-What you don't realize when you think

Video 5 (7:36)    All About Faith                                      -What faith really is!
                                                                                       -How faith, 'physicalizes' thought

Video 6 (7:29)    Love                                                     - What love is in relation to the law of attraction
                                                                                       - How it works with the law of attraction

Video 7 (6:00)    The Ultimate Hologram                         - How it was discovered
                                                                                       - How you control it to get your desired reality

Video 8 (18.39)   The Chakras                                        - Why they are important
                                                                                       - Opening and balancing techniques

Video 9 (8:32)     Your Inner Talk                                    - Why you must change your inner talk for success!
                                                                                       - 2 Concepts which help reduce and eliminate negative
                                                                                         beliefs

Now this is a beginners type of course (because I know some of you are VERY ADVANCED), but I require some feedback, and am willing to sell all this for just $1 to (hopefully) get some testimonials, OR constructive feedback, as I will be launching this next month.

Please click here https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=ZR9WFG9RPH83L to pay and be directed to the download page

Please let me know what you think guys, I really would appreciate it  :)

Many thanks

PS if this is in the wrong place, let me know and I'll post this in the correct place

I would never of thought of doing it that way...talk about thinking outside the box :-D

Well done. You must be extremely mentally disciplined

(I have nothing but envy, of course... haha;-)
