QuoteDo you ever have one of those dreams in which you are trying to run from something terrifying but you can't seem to move your legs, or they seem as though they are made of lead? Well, it is these dreams which are tailor made for getting over your fears. But the paradox is that you have to, in some measure, get over you fears enough to get over your fears. You have to turn, in your dream, on the very thing that terrifies you. You can either fight it and win, or be killed by it, which would not signify anyway, since you cannot die in a dream. It would not matter whether you win or lose. The important thing is to turn and face the Fear.
But if you are a much too dedicated whimp, I can't imagine what you shall do.
Thanks for the advice but I've never had one of those dreams before. Should I confront the darkness when I'm alone? Should I charge at it and assure myself that nothing can hurt me? Maybe i should learn to make a shield around my self.
