James S do you or people in your circle also see anything when looking into the sky (exc clouds etc hehe)?

They don't follow my eye movements,  i've got pretty good eyesight so i doubt it is anything wrong with them either hehe, although it is possible of course.

Thanks for your reply.

Could you also see them with your eyes closed? When it's dark they are especially bright, as i turn my head expecting to see something.

Is there anything you would recommend to see them better or anything else related?

Thanks

Ever since i have started energy rasing and astral projection i have started to get some weird visual effects. This had never happened before i started all this and makes me wonder what exactly it is.

I keep getting regular specs of brightly colored light in my line of sight, which will last a few seconds or until i look at them. They are really small, flash-like colors usually appearing one at a time in the corner of my vision.

I dont know what they are but it gets quite annoying after a while, i was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and knows what it is?

One of the important factors to astral projection and other..things is the ability to focus your mind on one specific task or thing. People who have trouble with this could try out what I've been using to help focus their mind a little better.

I'm sure alot of you will have read something about spinning a bit of paper around a pin head or something similar. This in turn requires full concentration to achieve and can really help in focusing ones mind when required to do so. Focusing purely on spinning the paper in one direction only is challenging, but the whole process is quick and simple to setup (i.e no meditation or relaxation exercises).

Anyone with any problems in not being able to focus their mind for astral projection could try this and this actually really helped me improve the abilities that everyone invisibly has.

Feedback welcome :)

Thanks,

I've been reading so much about post-exit experiences and also pre-exit. I thought i knew as i needed to be able to do this without essentially automatically filtering out parts that i did not expect.

I'll read up some more, but it's hard to find much creditable information that isnt a source of this site.

From some of my previous posts I've stated that the only near projections I've had have come about from being asleep. This continues to happen now, often as much as 3 or 4 times a night. The problem i have is taking control.

I focus on the high pitch sound in my head, which instantly increases in volume... getting pretty damn loud. At the same time i can feel myself separate from my body and have been able to move a bit away. What happens then is that i fall asleep again or the whole thing feels very dream like.

Can anyone help in any ways you know how to snap out of that dream state and take full control, and not just fall asleep again hehe?

Thanks

In my opinion i don't think age would be a restriction.. More of being able to accept or have a certain level of understanding or even being ready to get out of body would be more appropiate.

Thats what i would believe :p

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / vibrations

For the past 3 nights i have "told" myself to wake up during the night to try to project. Each time i have woken up and amazingly been able to bring on vibrations very quickly. I focus on the high pitch noise in my bed to bring them on. The problem i have had with all 5 attempts during the past 3 nights is that soon after i feel myself seperating from my physical body, i black out and wake up sometime after. with no memory of what happened after i blacked out.. suprisingly :p

Has anyone had this initial problem and knows what causes a blackout?

Hehe,

I don't think there is one definate way of experiencing a projection. The last few nights i have experienced it in different ways, so i think you are doing pretty well to get to that stage.

Sounds like you are getting very close :)

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / vibrations

Last night i went to bed as usual. I didn't think of trying to project. 3 Times throughout the night i would suddenly become aware and awake although in a deep state, looking at the back of my eyelids. being able to think also, i listened to the highpitch noise in my head. As soon as i did that it got extremely loud and some weird feelings went through me. This happened twice. The third time in the night, which was just before i woke up, around 11am, i decided to try and move. I visualised myself standing in my room a few feet away from my bed.  When i did that i felt myself slipping down the bed and almost like a stretching feeling. After that i don't know what happened. After each of the 3 times i woke up. It seemed so real but because it happened throughout the night it could have been a dream.

Was this just a dream or was it a close projection?

I acheived a state which you described above the other day. I was lucid dreaming for around about 1 hour when suddenly and unexpectedly and without trying, my whole body's feelings went crazy and it felt like i was spinning impossibley fast and as if i wasnt physical anymore. A noticeable continous sound of pulsating noise almost like water rushing was something i heard throughout this. That feeling intensified to an undescribale level and then instantly stopped. When it did i woke up and felt the "after effects" of that feeling for a few seconds.

I wasn't expecting this to happen so i wasn't ready to think what to do next. That's why it must have stopped.

Anyone had something similar? Im trying everyday for it to happen again.

Practise makes perfect right :)?

Hey, I've been practicing meditation and attempted astral projection for a while now. Recently i have been able to get a whole numb feeling throughout my body and a very relaxed feeling whilst remaining conscious. When i get to this state i try and open the chakras and then try the rope technique (among others) to project. I don't seem to get any vibrations when doing this. What should i be doing at this stage if anyone would know? I've read lots on this but can't get any vibrations :?

Thanks in advance

Well i saw the trailers beforehand and it looked really good. It started out well, but degraded towards the end. In my opinion it was far too exaggerated and could have been alot better if it was kept a bit more simple.

But still. not bad, i would recommend anyone to go see it. It gives out certain messages too...

Hey,

I've been trying for several weeks to have a successful OBE but have yet to get any vibrations. Are there anythings that i should not be doing or that i should when trying :?

Firstly i concentrate on my breathing, breath in whilst counting then breath out. Then i move onto relaxing my whole body. After that i try activating my energy body by "feeling" my finger drawing circles on the chakra point, which i learnt from Robert Bruce's book. Then i try to visualize energy flowing through my body and try the rope technique to try and project, yet i don't get anywhere with this? No vibrations, which i aim to get.

Any advice would be great!

Sounds good, keep going.
When i loose feeling in my arms and hands, sometimes my right arm "feels" very twisted, like if it were twisted around, pretty strange feeling.
I've still yet to remember or have an OBE but i'm still trying most nights before i goto bed.

I am practicing meditation, getting into the trance state where your physical body is practically sleeping except you are conscious.
I've tried a few times and have totally lost feeling in my arms and legs.
Is this a good sign, meaning i am going about it properly in order to project?
I remember the state at which i felt when i awoke during vibrations once and it felt similar to the above.

Anyone have any knowledge on this they could put forward?
Thanks

It's actually quite an amazing feeling.
I wasn't scared in the slightest and was totally relaxed.
Also a few days after i recalled a brief bit of a dream that night which wud futher support what i felt.

I guess i should fit in some more time to read the book :)

This weekend i was sleeping around a friends place. I was to sleep on the floor, which i like lol. I was drifting off to sleep, trying the rope technique for astral projection. I lost consciousness after a while, but then something strange happened.
I regained consciousness, i know for sure i did, my whole head was vibrating and it felt as if my body was too. i heard my own voice in my head saying this was good and it's happening. However, the whole words said that i remember came to several sentences but the whole thing lasted just a couple  of seconds, when i then fell asleep and cannot remember anything from that.

Has anyone else had an experience like this?
