If one follows emotion as you have described then there is no room for logic in ones life. I think of life as my own and not just endless wondering of emotion. I believe I control my life for better or worse in the decisions that I make; those designs are made by myself not through blind emotion but rather through intellect and understanding I myself have achieved through my own experience of my life.

Welcome to News and Media! / New Pope

I doesn't matter whoever  the pope is to most of us catholics or non-catholics. People now can make up their own mind on issues and don't need a religious figure to say how to take communion or consult with the church on decisions they make. How much power does the pope have anyway?

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Creation of fear.
March 14, 2005, 11:14:42
Throughout my childhood I made up tons of theories just to scare myself. I don't know why I did, but I'm still scared of some of them.

For instance:

I have a theory that gnomes live under all beds just waiting for the chance of the sleeper to have a limb leave the comforts of the bed, as if an arm hang from the bed. The gnomes would leave their home just to come out and take the arm. I still never sleep with any parts of my body vulnerable.

I have real problem with intelligent design. It's pretty simple that it makes no sense. If the world needed a creator that made this complex world then how could this creator be created. Wouldn't there have to be a even more complex creator that would create this creator. This is an ever ending cycle of intelligent design there can be no end so it would be false.

There are places in the world that civilization does not touch. I can even walk to these places. I even plan to live in these places for several years. I know that these places will not be touched.

How about the word "timschel" from East of Eden did the Buddhist monks translate it correctly?

No one has even mentioned German. It follows a very consistent pattern of rules. It is pronounced just as it reads and it is still a living language.

A war that can destroy everything would have to be a nuclear war. A nuclear war would have to be wage by superpowers. I don't think the world will collapse from weapons, but rather the people of the world will destroy it. A world revolt just doesn't happen in 30 years, but will take a very long time to reach the entire world. And by reaching the whole world I mean the small village in Indonesia that won't be harmed, so if anyone wants to live just retreat from civilization and you will be safe.

I also dabble a bit in poems. I think your verbs could use some work. Far too many of your verbs are too abstract. Remember verbs make the poem, adjectives destroy it.
