You may see odd things in the mirror.  I did - I saw myself but as an animated puppet.  It was spooky, bizarre and didn't make any sense.

I wouldn't say stubborn,  I would say suitably cautious.   

I wonder what is actually meant by these pseudophysical chemicals?
I am curious as to how spiritual/conscious energy is supposed to underly physical reality - the detail.  Perhaps it can be explained by something similar to "zero-point energy" or that Planck Scale Energy Field that , Stuart Hammeroff I think his name is, refers to. 

I would say my beliefs are quite eclectic.  I take a bit from Christianity, a bit from Jainism (I think it's called), and Buddhism and a few others.  Ultimately I think I'm simply a pragmatist - I just believe what seems to work.  So I have to agree with what Tayesin had to say basically I suppose.

Yes, if he becomes popular (that is, popular in places other than the Internet where he already is), that's a definite possibility.

Well he sounds like an excellent president but the question is whether the electoral college will vote him in if those are his stated intentions; in the end of the day the people's votes don't matter because it's the electoral college who selects the president

Yes, and even before that Dr Paul has got his work cut out for him just to win in the Primaries - his chance of gaining the Republican Nomination is slim to none.  The Republican Party practically needs to be re-built from scratch.  It's really lost it's way, I feel.
 
At the very least, however, Dr Paul will bring a lot of attention to these issues that just don't usually get discussed.

It would be great if there was someone like him worth voting for here in Australia - we have an election this year! 

Finally, someone who wants to reduce the size of government  , return all American troops back home, get rid of the income tax and the war on drugs, restore the constitution and most importantly of all, get rid of the Federal Reserve and return to sound money ie. gold and silver.

A tall order but very much worth it.  The only question is whether this guy can raise all of that money he needs for early next year.

I've read "Journey of Souls" and "Destiny of Souls".  I agree, they're brilliant!  What I found particularly fascinating was how much agreement there was on the part of the subjects he hypnotised about aspects of the Spirit World.  They described similar things regardless of their particular belief systems or whatever.   

  Lucid Dreaming is the easiest in my experience, but I've found the quality is often lower than I would like.  It can often seem quite dreamlike.
  Rolling out works well for me too.

Drink a lot of water.  Your need to go to the toilet should wake you up.  At least, it does for me.

I had the ears popping but no vibrations that I can recall.  There was also an exceptionally loud 'roar' in my ear.  My heart also seemed to be ready to explode it was beating so strongly.
I remember thinking that, despite the deafening noise and my racing heart, everything else seemed normal and I seemed to be just lying normally on my stomach on the bed.  I started rolling sideways, thinking all the while 'this is stupid, I'm just going to fall off the end'.  When I did reach the end I didn't fall but rather floated like a feather.  The top half of me landed first and then the rest, slowly, as if I was made of mist.  It was only then that I accepted that I was out of body. 
I remember being blind as a bat at the time, and quite scared.  Then, sadly, it ended.

  

Yes, raising energy will help.  (While out of body, visualise yourself breathing and you can "breathe" energy into you).  At least that's worked for me.
Also, try to immerse yourself in the experience and don't think about your body.

In my own experience, while out of body, the less I thought about what was around me, the more accurate it appeared to look (and sharp but usually black & white).

I have tried the "Man from Atlantis" swimming technique in an OBE.  That seemed to accelerate my floating until I reached a reasonable speed.

I still can't fly like Superman yet in OBEs - lucid dreams yes but not OBEs.

I take it you mean telekinesis?  As in the object really physically moves?  If so, great.  And, more importantly, how did you do it?

I have seen a strange alphabet a couple of times, in glowing red letters.  This occurred, one time, when I thought I was simply lying in bed but in fact was out of body (I discovered I was out of body because I reached out and touched my bedroom door with my hand without moving and it is several metres away physically).  This strange set of red symbols slowly emerged into view and stayed there for a little while.

Similar symbols appeared once when I was in a very relaxed state in bed.

That occurred a couple of years ago and I've never been able to work out what they were.   :confused:

I tried that.  It didn't work.

Mind you, I only tried the once.  Maybe I should have been more patient.

The Face Generator - when you start a new character and choose his/her race there's an option for modifying the character's face (eg. distance between their eyes, size of the lips etc).  You can make them as ugly or as pretty as you like.  Making them ugly is much easier of course.    

There's supposed to be a construction set.  I haven't looked.

Sounds like the "Vibrations" you get when you're ready to go out of body.  I had the same thing happen to me a few times - terrifying loud sounds, as well as the sensation of being close to a giant motor.  Each time thought about floating away from my body and I did.  

Scared the s**t out of me the first few times but it's definitely a positive sign with regards to OBEs.

I also play a custom class - sort of a mage with some combat skills.  Also level 22!  I haven't started the main quest yet - still making my way through the mage quests at the Arcane University.

How did you find the Face Generator?  I have spent hours playing around with it, trying to get the face to look the way I wanted!
