Welcome to Metaphysics! / Relativity of Time

Quote from: NeoSaturnyou are a stoner aren't you? no offense! its just that its your avatar, it was on the cover of a weed magazine, and it was called "the tripping issue"
Off topic: My avatar is by my favorite artist Alex Grey. Although it's inspired from psychedelic experiences it doesn't need to be experienced with the aid of a psychedelic. He explores the potential of human spirit. I suggest you look him up if you like it.

On topic: I haven't been able to connect with time like I did that night before. Although I remember very clearly my state of mind I can't seem to duplicate it. I'm beginning to realize that there are probably more factors than just a certain state of mind in order for me to utilize that connection again. I'll keep trying though and if I get through then I'll post any experiences in this thread as long as they directly relate to the relativity of time.

I posted this as a reply but decided it deserved its own thread.

I was smoking a cigarette late at night on my back porch and I started to hear this low humming sound that muffled all surrounding sounds. I then started to hear the shower in my house going. Everyone was asleep so I was wondering what was going on and I asked softly to myself "what is that?" then I heard myself humming. I was hearing myself getting ready to take a shower. I recognized this as a future event and my intuition told me it was gonna happen that night. I heard my future self talking to me. My future self said "It was meant to be this way. All is one." It seemed as though my future self already knew what I was doing and going to do. It's like he knew that I knew that he knew and that I was going to do exactly what he was doing at that moment in the future. There was this strange cosmic energy permeating the atmosphere (that's the best I can describe it). I sat there smoking my cigarette wondering about the energy that brought these two time lines together. My future self was humming. I wanted to change it just to see if I could so instead of taking a shower I went straight to bed. I got frustrated because I couldn't sleep without taking a shower so I got up to take one. After I started the water I heard my past self ask, "what is that", I started humming because I knew that my past self would recognize what was going on. I then found myself involuntarily saying, "It was meant to be this way. All is one." I continued humming while contemplating everything that was happening. This has never happened to me before and yet I understood it almost immediately. I'm pretty sure if I really wanted to change it I could've but everything ended up happening so naturally that I felt I had to go with the flow for the sake of my past self recognizing my future self and vice versa all existing in that present moment. It was pretty strange but it was also very real and makes me wonder what the potential is of tapping into this energy for discovering future events. I'm confident that if I meet myself in another time line psychically I will be able to communicate any essential information in order to ensure the success of my future self. It may sound crazy but now I believe even more than before that time can be transcended by one's conscious will.

Quote from: pod_3Mountains have been well-known magnetic or electric centers.
If that were true then compasses would be going haywire when you travel around or over them and for that matter have you ever tried to plug your toaster into a mountain? Let me know if it works cause that could save the world from using anything other than nature to power our homes. However, I do know that mother nature has energy. It's just generally not magnetic or electric. Lava flows have a magnetic quality to them that can be measured. Storms many times have an electric quality to them. I'm trying to understand where you're getting your information. I think your idea that mountains are "well-known" magnetic or electric centers is fallacy.

Okay, firstly they probably would've done or at least said something if there was some implant between your eyes when they scanned you. I've been scanned before and they have the images the second they scan you and see all aspects of the brain aside from activity (unless of course it's a fMRI). Secondly, I had an intense experience that I described in a kundalini thread that landed me in the hospital. Directly after the experience and for the first three weeks I was in the hospital it felt as though there was some sort of implant in between my eyes (right at the bridge of the nose). It felt like a tiny fiery sphere (about the size of a ball berring) and I recognized it as my third eye. I'm telling you it's probably not an implant. It's more likely your third eye awakened. Did you have some sort of crazy experience spiritually that is the reason you landed in the hospital and had that scan in the first place?

How can you be so certain? I completely disagree.

I thought I'd add, I did this with a friend. I had my friend take a deck of cards and pick one at a time off the top and I'd try and guess the suit of the card. After some fatal attempts I started trying with my eyes closed for each card. I ended up on a roll actually seeing a conglomeration of what the suit was, made up of many of the symbols and color all spread around with my eyes closed. I got like ten in a row and scored above probability. I thought it was a lot of fun. We would go back and forth searching in our minds for the key to picking the right suit. At one point I saw the entire card. I said 7 of hearts, his eyes went wide as he put the card down face up. You guys should try it.

Thanks for the links. I'm checking that stuff out. I am kind of new to these forums so I'm still figuring out what goes where. Thanks again.

Cheers to your reply. I realize it's hard to define true clairvoyance as it's such a subjective experience. I guess I meant strong clairvoyant abilities. It sounds like you have that. We all seem to be developing or at least striving for development spiritually otherwise we wouldn't be here would we? What I'm trying to do with this thread is compare and contrast the different methods and experiences people have with my own. My third eye happens to be extremely active and I'm always, and I mean always, aware of it. Have been for about two years since my kundalini was awakened. I do get visions but they vary greatly in clarity and definitive form. I've seen people that I'd imagine as being in the spirit plane. One time I saw a guy that looked like a depiction of Jesus. He had a real sad look in his eyes, stayed for a couple seconds and faded away. But when I saw him it was extremely vivid. I could see all the colors of his physical features in three dimensions as if he was standing about five feet away from me. Sometimes I see geometric patterns when deep in meditation and their intricacy tends to be really amazing. I do see auras when I focus my eyes right but I'd like to be able to see them better. The thing is I really want to see with my third eye more vividly on the average. What makes me wonder is that when I do see very vividly then what am I doing right? I can't distinguish what state I'm in that makes it so clear. My third eye doesn't feel much different and when I try to duplicate the clarity it gets even harder to see the things I'm trying to see, even with my mind completely relaxed in the same state. I guess it might partly depend on the planetary alignment in relation to the Cosmos. I don't know. That's why I started this thread. I don't know and I'm trying to understand better. I'm hoping this thread develops and everyone can learn something from each other and their experiences with clairvoyance and hopefully we'll all become better at this very auspicious ability.

Wanna see something I drew?

This image was burning in my mind after my kundalini was awakened. You may not be able to see it but within the eye of the dragon are flames and in the pupil is a figure. I tried to make that figure look like a person standing there so that whoever was looking at the image would see themselves in the dragons eye. It's a gentle dragon embracing the viewer with it's wing curved behind. It also has great wisdom and intelligence. It doesn't speak often but when it does it's voice echoes far and wide.

When I would activate my sub-chakras I would mirror image it from one side of my body to the other. It was a subtle technique I used for balance. I would twist my primary's both ways which seemed a good way to get them active then they would just pulsate on their own.

ookaaaay... your pictures still aren't there. I use this website to link pictures online. It's a good site so I hope it lasts and it's free but you can only sign up during a certain time period which is kind of weird. Maybe you're not uploading it as the right file. You can't upload bitmap onto most sites so try and save it as a jpeg first then upload it and link the picture. You'll know it worked when you see it online.

Quote from: GypsyWandererlets not forget why cannabis was made illegal in the first place, the federal government of the united states was using cannabis hemp for nearly all their paper and it was remarkably easy to do, then found out that they could make way more money from the more expensive to process and sell other trees, illegalized it, had WWI, people came back afterwards, hey whys this illegal, oh its bad for you, prove it, federal government injects rat with twice its body mass full of thc, rat explodes, test proves marijuana is bad, everyone gasps, enter the age of everyone believes everything they shouldnt
Why did I find myself laughing at the hilarity of that just to end of shivering at the disturbance...
Actually, I like marijuana. I find i'm much more telepathic when on it and my energy body is more sensitive and sensed as strengthened. The downside is that i don't feel as intelligent when on it. I definitely couldn't do any algebra while on it, then again at times when on it i'm very fast at calculating numbers but mostly just addition and subtraction with any sort of number high or low. Like when i'm tallying in my head how much my change will be when I have the munchies and decide to order at Jack in the Box. As has been said in this thread, there's pro's and con's to it, puddl. Just don't do it too often and you'll be alright. I would definitely recommend at least trying it once. It can be a very cool experience. I remember my first time was the best. I did end up doing it a lot when i was in high school but cooled down a hell of a lot after. Now, i'll maybe do it once a month at most but I still really enjoy it. I think it's better than alcohol and it harms a lot less of your body than sauce too. BUT!, I would not recommend using marijuana and doing energetic development work. I've tried that and the energy just gets WAY too intense. You should sit back and enjoy the experience. Sometimes the eyes are bigger than what you think you could handle. Ask and ye shall receive works a lot with hallucinogens (especially psychedelics) so be careful, especially for your first time. Take it slow and easy. Patience should be the predominant force in spiritual development. *just realized* Have you tried it yet? It's been a little while since you first mentioned it. Let us know what your experience was if you did.

I'm curious if there's any true clairvoyants around here and if so I have a few questions for you.

Have you always had clairvoyant abilities? And if not, how did you develop it?

Did the NEW system aid in your clairvoyant abilities?

Do you literally SEE things when using your abilities? Can you describe the things you see?

Any advice or good links for someone that's trying to develop their clairvoyant abilities?

Quote from: Adventmyfreaky, it was purely chance that i came across the book. i went into a barnes and noble looking specifically for sacred geometry. i walked into the new age section and the first book i saw was his. it was nicely detailed with the flower of life and dim white geometries behind. that was enough of a sign for me so i bought it. it's a good book.
That's crazy. That's exactly how I came across the book. Exactly. No joke. I had a desire to learn sacred geometry, went into barnes and noble looking for a book on the subject and Drunvalo's book was just sitting there. I picked it up, flipped through it, and went to the cashier having found what I was looking for.

I read somewhere (i think on a kundalini website) that those electric blue dots can be used for guidance. All you have to do is ask for it to stay and guide you. I tried that and then some wild stuff started happening. I saw this bright flash with a pop sound come from my peripheral vision. It lit up the room but there was no light bulb to create the flash from where it came. The next night I was in the passenger seat of my friends car leaving from his house and as we were heading down the hill I repeated in my head for it to guide me and I saw this ghost like figure glowing the same electric blue gliding down the street and as it started to turn the corner it just vanished. I guess a lot of people see the dots and I believe what an above poster said that it is prana, life energy. Try asking it to stay and guide you and see what happens. The dots themselves seemed more frequent after I asked.

Yes I do, although, not all that much. I've done LSD a few times and shrooms the same. But, none of the aforementioned experiences happened while on the effects of a psychedelic.

Quote from: NosticI'm curious about this Oversoul. How exactly do you use your 3rd eye? What do you see/experience with its help?
I use my third eye mostly for discernment and vision quests. Visually it shows me many different things. Sometimes it shows me intricate geometries or colors or spirits and/or deities (i'm not sure if they're alive or dead. probably both). When I see things they're either extremely clear as if I'm using my physical eyes or it's just a detailed outline. Many times I see electric blue dots that vary in size and shape and when I put all my concentration into them I can manipulate them into forms or objects (one time i made an engraved coffee table that was very clear and maintained its electric blue color). Like I mentioned before it reacts to my environment. The people I'm around have an affect on it and through the sensations I receive I can figure out what kind of state of mind they're in (like how aware and in touch spiritually they are). I also get thought impressions. Like a subtle idea of what they're thinking or many times their exact thought and sometimes I can change it or their reaction. It's kind of fun to play around with and experiment with but I don't do it all that often anymore unless it involves my own free will.

Welcome to Energy Body and The Chakras / Kundalini

There's different levels to a kundalini awakening. There's a subtle awakening which happens gradually over time and an explosive awakening which happens in an instant and of course the in between. Each one has different effects on the mind/body/spirit complex. The explosive awakening is the hardest to deal with. Some people, when they experience this, never come back to the real world. They could spend twenty years in a state of deep depression or intense joy (not that that's entirely a bad thing) before they get a grip on it. I think I experienced an explosive type and for some amazing reason I was able to get a grip on it before it consumed all reasonable and rational thought. To answer an above question, I definitely believe I'm a better person and most certainly different because of my awakening. My mental pathology was rewired and although I have most of the same beliefs there's definitive differences. The most obvious is how very awake my third eye has been since the experience. I am always aware of the intense energy situated there and over the couple years since have begun to figure out exactly what it means and how to use it.

I'm 23 now and I started the NEW techniques when I was 19. The not cool part about it was that I literally went insane. I don't know how I came back but I did and, well, here I am.

I have to add... kundalini can make you go crazy. I know, I was crazy for about a month but luckily I came back to sanity. If you're thinking of waking your kundalini please be careful. Make sure you are well balanced before raising the serpent fire. And don't make assumptions if it does happen to you. Kundalini energy activates all your psychic channels and the subtle impressions received can be easily misinterpreted. It's definitely the most powerful energy of human kind.

Welcome to Energy Body and The Chakras / Kundalini
December 26, 2004, 17:32:53
First off I would like to say hello. This is my first time posting in this forum but i've been around for a while and have to tell y'all that this is a great message board when it comes to finding answers to some of the questions about the hidden mysteries of the world. Cheers to that! Now to the subject of the matter....

About three and a half years ago I discovered Robert Bruce's book Astral Dynamics and after I read it decided to start doing the N.E.W. techniques. Over the months of activating all my sub-chakras and primary's I became subtly more and more aware of the energy around me. I actually really enjoyed the new sensitivity (my intuition very heightened) and continued to do the techniques for about a year and a half and realized I was becoming almost too sensitive. I was picking up people's thoughts and I didn't know what to do with them. Then I started being contacted by spirits. Two in particular that contacted me directly for about two months but many that came and left. One sounded male the other was female. The male voice was a trickster and always testing me and might I add in very annoying ways. The female was very compassionate and about a hundred times more powerful than the male. She would tell me an outcome to a situation or something specific that would happen and it would happen. That's what made me realize that the voices weren't just in my head. They were real but they kind of tripped me out. For some reason I trusted them both and got very distracted from the real world. I ended up losing my job, my house, and my girlfriend at the time (i was actually happy when the relationship ended though. she didn't understand). Stressed out, I would meditate daily and would continue to hear these spirits. I knew something was gonna happen but I couldn't say what. Well, one specific night just after all this excrement happened I had insomnia and at about four o'clock in the morning, with my eyes closed, I began to see a bright light emanating from my third eye. It slowly began to get brighter and brighter until it filled my entire mind with bright white light. I heard her voice say "Shhhhhh" and that's when I saw her. She came through the light and I could see her emitting a very bright blue light throughout her entire body. She glowed beautifully. She told me everything was going to be alright and then asked me if I was ready. Little did I know that what was to happen next would change my life. I told her I was ready. She proceeded to reach her hand toward me and touched my third eye. The instant she touched me my body fluttered with the most powerful energy I had ever experienced in my life. So intense, I had no idea it was possible. The energy expanded very rapidly to about five hundred times my size. I was huge and very powerful. She then said, "show them how". I have yet to figure out exactly what she was talking about but the male voice said as if in awe, "she made him better". I didn't know it at the time but figured out after the fact that my kundalini was awakened. I didn't sleep at all that night and was experiencing some intense, amazing energy. I wasn't ready for it. My crown chakra was wide open and I was getting so many psychic impressions at once I couldn't distinguish what was what. Nevertheless, it was very intense. I heard birds chirping the next day and felt at peace. After a little while I decided to go see the birds outside. They sounded like they were everywhere but when I looked for them, there were absolutely no birds but their chirping was very loud. I'd hear them surrounding me but no physical birds at all. This lasted for about three days straight. They were chirping all the time and it freaked me out although I realize I shouldn't have let it distract me. My dad kinda freaked out, wondering what was going on with me, and took me to see a psycho-analyst. It didn't go well. I could barely communicate but I was not going to tell them what happened to me but maybe I should have. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have accepted it. I ended up spending a month in the hospital until they diagnosed me but they never really figured out exactly what, if any, mental disorder I had. After that spirit (angel?) touched me I had this very intense energy in my third eye. The feeling never went away and I've lived with it for about two years now. It's unrelenting, there 24/7 and when I focus my eyes right I can see auras however for the first three weeks after my experience I saw auras everywhere without trying. That was in the hospital. Well, I ended up getting better after three weeks and becoming more coherent and they let me go after a month. Three months after I left the hospital and having been on meds they diagnosed me with schizophrenia. From my research of trying to understand how they came to that conclusion I found that the symptoms of schizophrenia are very similar to the symptoms of kundalini awakening. I still hear spirits on occasion and i'm sure She is still with me but I have much more control over my own thoughts relationship of how to deal with it. That's some of my story, really only a fraction as my initial experienced caused a chain reaction almost like an astral domino effect. So many spirits wanted to know what was going on with me that they came and left for about eight months. Some came back and appreciated that I remembered them. Even though I never got names I could tell the difference by their energy's frequency. When i'm around people they are generally aware that there's a lot more going on even though they can't explain why and seemingly divine will always has a part in it. I haven't done any of the techniques aside from meditation since my experience because really I don't feel I need to. I'm very connected naturally now and look forward to future experiences.

Has anyone else experienced a kundalini awakening through their development using the N.E.W. techniques?
