Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Mystic Web
April 06, 2005, 13:30:14
I took the courses on Mystic web. It started out ok. They provided some useful bits of information on astral projection and other spiritual matters.
They start off saying they will give you the information you need to become a spiritual being. They teach you how to astral project so you can find out for yourself what you need to do, then they will give you helpful advice along the way.
But, as you take more courses, it changes to. You must do as we say. Following our orders is the only way to achieve enlightenment. If you do not do as we say, you will be damned forever. Well, maybe its not quite that bad, but they do tell you to devote all of your waking and non waking hours to god and the masters.

Its very clever how they reel people in.

The master who teaches you calls himself belzebuub/the devil/prince of darkness, but he turned good....apparently.

I recommend you read as much as you can on the internet, rather than believe what one person thinks. He might be a good guy with good intentions, he might be the prince of darkness, or he might just be some random guy who's doing it for a laugh.

If you are only doing this to learn how to AP, then I think you will get much more information from Robert Bruce's books. They aren't free but its worth the price, in my opinion.

It is your choice. Go with whatever you think is right. Just because you subscribe, doesn't mean you have to follow the courses. So you can sign-up and see what you think.

ARCHDRAGON, what type of martial arts are you learning? I am thinking of taking up some sort of martial art.

Hi. I have just started getting into all this spiritual stuff and energy work. Your post has helped me because I now know roughly what I need to do. But I will have my own path.

Couple of questions though....

1) What is the end result? Enlightenment? Or do we keep following this path always gaining knowledge?

2) Are you saying that OBE is the only thing needed to be able to travel along this path? None of this stuff that they sell on the internet (not that I buy any of it anyway).

3) I know it will take everybody a different amount of time to pass (lack of a better word) these stages, but can you give a rough estimate? Ex. - It shouldn't take longer than X amount of years to reach part 3.

Thankyou

Thanks for your replies. I was trying to do more than was needed,  but your information helped.

I believe it can work because of all the positive comments i've seen about it. If I stumbled across it on a plain website, I wouldn't have bothered to see if it would work. But because I read the comments first, I thought it should be good.

Hi,

I downloaded NEW a while ago but only just got round to reading it. If it can do what it says (which I believe it can), then I will be very impressed.

But when I started the exercises, I got stuck on basic awareness. The easy bit.
I scratch my knee, and become aware of it, but only slightly more aware than the rest of my body. So I can still feel my whole body, what my hands are touching and other stuff.
So what should I be feeling? Am I supposed to not be aware of my body at all? And do you have any tips?

Thanks
