Just thought I'd post this interesting alternative-view on the War with Iraq, future world changes and how all of this will affect everyone globally.  This comes from Whitley Streiber's journal entry at http://www.unknowncountry.com/journal/?id=111

Whitley has an internet radio show that's similar to Art Bell.  He discusses some very enlightening and "different" topics that mainstream media won't touch with a 10-foot pole.

While I don't completely agree with everything Whitley says below, it does make you THINK about the larger picture behind the looming threat of war with Iraq and the inner "secret" workings of the government of our country.

Sadly, we are very close to war with Iraq. This war is being called 'needless' and the president is being excoriated as a warmonger. However, this is not, for the most part, being done by the Democratic leadership, but by people who are not close to the realities, and knowledge, of congress.
The reason is that every diplomatic effort that was made by the previous administration to get Saddam Hussein to change his ways failed, and most congresspeople can see this. Meanwhile, the longer Hussein remains in power, the more unstable the situation becomes. Even if the Democrats had remained in office, they might well have ended up in a situation similar to the one the administration is in now.

Saddam Hussein, by his actions, is demanding war. This complex and brilliant man is much like Adolf Hitler, whose overweening arrogance compelled him to crucify his own people on the cross of his twisted ideals.

There are lots of people beating the drum that this war is needless. Saddam sympathizers, anti-semites, peace-at-any- price idealists who are ill-read in their history, and many ordinary people very much like me, who think that there just has to be a better way. But the current peace movement has the same creepy quality that pre-WWII peace movement had. It was hard to tell where the peace lovers stopped and the Hitler lovers started, and everybody was real quiet about the Jews. Add, in the case of this peace movement, a surprising indifference to the danger to the third world of high oil prices, and you can see a deeply inhumane aspect to it that certainly was not present, for example, in the anti-war movement of the 1960s.

Let's be clear: Saddam Hussein is a fascist monster who has murdered thousands of his own people, and perverted the sanctions process in order to prevent its humanitarian provisions from protecting ordinary Iranians, while using them to surround himself and his croines with luxuries. He's no different from Hitler, and the peace movement, if it is ever to attain credibility, must face that, if it succeeds, it must also take moral responsibility for him.

Normally, I would be in the peace camp, but not this time. There isn't a better way than war, and the situation is much more serious than it appears--not because Saddam has the devastating weapons the administration fears, but because of what is happening in the world of oil.

If we don't fight and win this war, oil prices are going to rise dramatically over the next few years, and there is going to be tremendous suffering as a result. When oil prices are high, the first world is inconvenienced, but the third world starves, and the peril to these helpless people is what we must seek to avoid. That's in the near term. In the medium term, the situation is, if anything, more perilous.

As I write this, evidence is growing that the climate is already in a process of sudden change. The Laurentian sea is being flooded with fresh water from the melting north polar cap. Greenland is melting much faster than predicted. The flow rates of the Gulf Stream and dropping.

Once this climate change takes place--after the upheavals of the first few years--the northern hemisphere is going to be much colder. There will be a massive and permanent increase in fuel needs across the whole northern half of the region, where the most productive (and oil-hungry) segment of the human population lives.

At the same time, there is every evidence that the middle east is going to decline further and further into a stance of profound hostility toward the west, meaning that, just as we are at our most desperate, they will be at their most hostile.

Obviously, we must try to do something to prevent even the chance of such a scenario happening. In itself, though, it isn't a reason to go to war--not as long as it remains hypothetical, anyway.

But there are other reasons, many of them. As sad as it is, going to war may be the most humanitarian thing we can do.

If the preparations Saddam Hussein has been making since the end of the Gulf War mean anything, it will be a dangerous and difficult affair. Unfortunately, the American people are expecting an easy war, if there could ever be such a thing. If that's what happens, all will be well. But if it gets hard, then our resolve will obviously be tested.

What troubles me is the total lack of media interest in educating the public about why the president would think that this war is so essential to our welfare and the welfare of the world that he would be willing to engage in it even without the support of the UN, and even without a coalition of allies. But there are reasons, and they are good ones.

Of course, I cannot be sure of the president's motives. They may be simple and self-serving: a desire to correct a world- historical error made by his father, and to guarantee a flow of cheap oil, thus perpetuating his administration and concealing the riskiness of his long term energy policy behind a curtain of plentiful oil.

Nevetheless, I know that I am going to get excoriated for writing this. But it's the truth. Ideals are not going to change the reality of the situation. We're in a pickle, and it just isn't clear that there is another way out--at least, not one that will actually help.

When Unknowncountry.com ran a poll on war in Iraq, 58% said that you thought that we should not go to war under any circumstances. I deplore war just as much as you do, but there are overwhelming reasons why this must be done, that go far beyond the publicly stated goal of removing a potential future threat from a mad dictator, or rescuing a beautiful country full of good people from slavery and terror.

In recent years, the petroleum community had come to believe, with substantial evidence, that there were around 200 billion barrels of oil in the area of the Caspian Sea. This is as much oil as exists in the middle east. The mere existence of this oil had decisively altered the character of the market. Because the current oil producers saw this as a huge supply overhang, they viewed the world as a buyer's market for their product. OPEC was therefore accommodating and relatively unaggressive, and oil prices stayed low.

However, over the past two years, it has become clear that the Caspian area does not contain nearly that much oil. In fact, it doesn't contain much oil at all. There are perhaps 20 billion barrels in the region, and much of this oil appears to be so highly sulfured that it's not really commercially viable, because the costs of moving it and refining it will exceed its value.

This has radically changed the oil picture. We've moved from a buyer's market to a seller's market, and the oil producing countries are well aware of this. What is worse, there have been rumors for a long time that the Saudi reserves are not as high as published. This means that the market may remain a seller's market for a long time to come. In fact, the only thing that would change that would be a worldwide depression brought on by high oil prices.

Easy to say, oh, we mustn't go to war for oil! We have no right to do that! We've got to conserve, not feed our bloated SUVs more gas we really don't need.

Maybe so, but if that is your position, then please do this: you and your family go absolutely without gasoline. Plus, you pretend that the trucks that deliver food to your grocery store are stranded. Don't even walk to the store for food. See how long you can manage it. A couple of days? A week? When will your kids start to cry from hunger? When will you actually begin to starve?

What you will be doing is living the way more and more of the world's people will be living if oil prices continue to rise. Because this is not just an issue of first world consumption. High oil prices slow down our economies, but out in the third world where live the great masses of human beings, high oil prices flat-out kill.

To those of you who say that war for oil is immoral, have you thought past the SUVs to the little people of the world? Probably not. It's interesting how rhetoric and blind ideals always seem to plant themselves in a bed of human suffering.

War is ugly. But, in this case, the alternative is far uglier.

I have lived through a depression brought on by oil scarcity, back in the seventies. I well remember the terror of the gas lines, of not being able to get gasoline anywhere at any price, and just what that meant. It was bad enough in the US and France and Japan. In Zambia, in Brazil, in Burma it meant that the busses and the trucks stopped, and the food ran out.

Meanwhile, talk show hosts are singing a siren song right now about how the free market will always supply us with more oil.

It's another pipedream, nothing more. The free market is well and good--unless somebody else gains control over something the others can't live without. Then watch out: the free market is liable to make you a slave.

I don't think that we are running out of oil, but what is happening is that control of the market is moving into the hands of the suppliers, and the suppliers in the past have been able to operate as a monopoly, and are showing signs of doing so again.

The war will result in an immediate drop in world oil supplies. The AP has predicted $4.84 a gallon for gasoline in the US. But the International Energy Agency says it can deliver millions of stored barrels for up to a month. If Saddam burns his oil fields, as is highly likely, it is likely that oil will go to $45.00 a barrel in the short term. It is now at $35.00 a barrel, and reserves onshore in the US are at 1975 levels.

But that's the short term. In the long term, Iraq holds a gigantic reserve of oil, enough to convert the market at a stroke from a seller's to a buyer's market and keep it that way for years. Enough, in other words, to keep those trucks in Africa and South America and Asia running, carrying the food and supplies essential to life.

It will give us in the first world the breathing room we need to develop alternative energy sources that are real on the massive scale that we need, and to evolve efficent, useful and--above all--practical means of conservation, so that we can wean ourselves from the oil addiction. Of course, the Bush administration won't hear of this part of the equation. They're dismantling alternative energy research, which is a great shame, not to say downright foolish.

However, they're not entirely to blame. It has been clear since the seventies that we need alternative energy, and, despite the current administration, we may some day get it. But the truth is that the replacement of oil is at least a generation away, and would be even if research was allowed to continue. Administration after administration has had poor energy policy, as is shown not only by our lack of clear energy goals, but also accomplishments that should have been made years ago.

We should be so efficient already that this war should not matter. But we are not that efficient, and the war does matter.

Back before Saddam came long, Iraq was a sophisticated, westward-looking country. It had an educated population and was a functional democracy. There were deep ethnic divisions, but they were not nearly as dangerous as they are now. Saddam is not beloved in Iraq. He's feared and hated-- despised, would be the most accurate word. And the moment the terror is removed, his whole state apparatus will collapse.

There will be a chance then--an essential, golden chance--to allow the wonderful, sophisticated, well-educated Iraqi people to regain their independence and their leadership role in the middle east.

At a time when it seems increasingly likely that Saudi Arabia is going to fall entirely under the influence of fundamentalist Wahhabite Moslems, a free and politically moderate Iraq could be the cornerstone of regional stability. It could provide the moderate majority in Iran with the impetus it needs to throw off the fundamentalist leaders who are choking that country to death as well. Above all, it could provide enough oil to move prices down and get the world economy moving again.

The alternative is stark indeed: an unstable middle east, continuously rising oil prices, and economic turmoil and stagnation for the foreseeable future. Every penny that gas rises, a couple more people curse their gas guzzlers, and that's too bad. But a few more third world mouths remain unfed, and that is cruel.

It could be said that what we need is conservation now and alternative energy now.

Agreed, but what about the real world, as it is now? Let's not forget that small problem, because people's lives depend on our remembering it.

First, alternative energy is not going to change anything in the near term—not in the next ten years or even the next twenty-five. Even draconian conservation and an extremely aggressive alternative energy policy will not be enough to change the situation as it stands right now: without the Caspian, the oil market is going to be a seller's paradise for the foreseeable future.

The president is not going to say that the oil situation is a motive for attacking Iraq. But it is nevertheless the most important of all the motives, and there are many. Mr. Bush has been criticized for describing Iraq and North Korea as a axis of evil. He has been called 'geopolitically challenged.' It's been said that this was an off the cuff remark that forever altered foreign policy, because he did not really understand the power of his position.

Nothing could be farther from the truth. At the present time, North Korea is providing a diversion, attempting to frighten the US into thinking that we could end up with a two-front war. Because of the position of South Korea's capital, Seoul, so close to the border with North Korea, there is a very genuine potential for a damaging attack from the north.

If these are not the actions of one ally in support of another, I don't know what else they could be. North Korea is supporting Iraq, clearly. So the president's notion that they are allies is not wrong, and has never been wrong.

Yesterday, Richard Perle, the chairman of the Pentagon's Defense Policy Board, told senior British officials that plans for an early war would not be put on hold, and that the United States would press ahead even without the support of the UN. He criticized the UN inspectors for visiting previously known sites, saying, "they are the last place you'd expect Saddam to put something."

The United States has not offered the inspectors much intelligence about where to look. Ostensibly, this has been to protect intelligence sources, but the real reason may be more stark: we may not have such sources. Despite the obvious threat that Iraq has posed since the day we stopped fighting in the Gulf War, little effort has been made to develop covert sources of intelligence in Iraq. The CIA has not until this administration had the budget or the support to develop an intelligence infrastructure like we had during the Cold War, that were the eyes and ears of this country. Satellite and electronic eavesdropping are no substitute.

So not only is the president in a position where he must fight an essential war, he is going into it with far less knowledge of the ground than would be optimal. As a result, there may be unexpected causalities, and you can be sure that the world media will be screaming bloody murder when that happens. It could be that the Iraqi oil fields will be mined, and probably more effectively than the Kuwaiti fields were during the Gulf War. It could be that our troops will be facing pernicious and awful weapons, and an Iraqi army obsessed with redressing its previous humiliation.

But if we lose this war, it will be lost in the same way that the Vietnam war was lost: at home. Of course, the anti-war movement of the sixties was much more humane and cogent than the present one, and the war far less defensible.

But if it is lost, it will be because the media is failing right now to educate the American people on just how much their futures—and I am talking about the way each of us lives his life—depends on success in this conflict. Believe me, being a buyer in a seller's market can get very, very unpleasant, as those of you who lived through the oil crisis of the seventies must remember. What is worse, this time we could well be facing a hostile Saudi Arabia, its royal family overthrown, its government in the hands of religious leaders who will make the Ayatollah Khomeni look like a real gentleman.

A loss presents a picture of the future that is, to say the least, extremely depressing. It is a picture of the United States as a supplicant nation with a failed foreign policy, forced to rely for its life blood on its mortal enemies.

Of course the president is taking the country to war. This war is essential to our future. It's all well and good to argue peace at any price. It's convenient to brand the United States as a wanton aggressor and the president as a fool, and if, God forbid, we must take significant casualties, the world media is going to be screaming these things. The nascent American anti-war movement will explode in the president's face. He risks ending up like Lyndon Johnson or Richard Nixon, destroyed by his own understanding of the necessity of the conflict. Only the difference is that they were wrong about their war and he is not wrong about his.

Our loss of the Vietnam war did not set the cause of freedom on this planet back many years, and could not have devastated it. But it could have prolonged the agony of Soviet communism. Fortunately, the economic situation in the former Soviet Union enabled us to find an eventual victory, as it were, by another means.

The president is not a fool, and it is outrageous to paint him as one. He has seen the future clearly, and stood up to the hard necessities that must be addressed if the world our children will inherit is to be a place of happiness and prosperity. Maybe his motives are purely national, or even simply to create an economic situation that will get him re- elected. But the effect of his actions is going to be that a whole lot of innocent people in the third world keep eating.

Going to war alone, as it now appears that we will do, perhaps with lukewarm British support, is an act of extraordinary courage, in a world that cares nothing for the overwhelming reasons that we must fight this battle, and seeks in its heart our downfall.

If the war lasts a few weeks, we will be able to stay the course. But what if it last months? What if an aircraft carrier is blown up, or a battle group devastated by some poison? Or an American city infected with smallpox? Will we then have the stomach for a fight?

You will be hearing the screams of those whose secret desire is the destruction of our country's power. Their rhetoric will be convincing, and they will be editorializing, commenting, speaking, demonstrating. We will be dead alone on this planet in our conflict, with even our allies shouting that we must end it. The will of the country is bound to falter.

The president has seen that the future must be built on a stable oil supply, and has had the courage to gamble the destiny of his administration on this bid to guarantee it. But will we be with him if the road gets rough? Will we support him then?

Remember, then, what you have read in these pages. I hate war. My inclination is always to find a peaceful solution. But when you look at what Iraq has become, fallen as it has from the most advanced and sophisticated country in the mideast to a hell of torture and misery run by a paranoid lunatic with children ready to follow him who are just as bad, it could not be more clear that there is no peaceful solution, not this time.

Normally, our prayer group has a monthly intention, but we have instituted a special prayer at this time: for all who must suffer in the coming conflict. In addition, it is going to become important to remember our soldiers in another theater of conflict, which the media will forget entirely: Afghanistan. They are there, living hard lives under the most atrocious conditions, bringing a measure of stability and hope to people who have been without hope for generations. Read the current Insight article, an e-mail from a soldier in that far place, and keep them and the Afghani people who are dependent upon their lonely sacrifice, in your hearts as well.

I know that many of you will write me off because of this journal. But please realize that you're doing this because you're hypnotized by rhetoric and lies. A lot of you will resent the fact that I'm saying, essentially, that sucking gas like there was no tomorrow is inhumane and unamerican. But it's true. Every moral person has to conserve, on behalf of mankind. Others--the peace at any price crowd--are going to excoriate me for being a warmonger. But they don't stop to think who life is really on the line, here--not just the powerful, luxury-loving first world, but the third world, and for the third world the situation is far, far more stark.

Far better to wake up to the reality of the world as it is. The situation isn't pretty. I wish we weren't addicted to oil. If I'd had my way, the roads would already be full of high mileage, low-emission vehicles. But they're not, and that is what is real right now and what has to be faced and lived with.

If you want to see something really ugly, leave Iraq alone. Your children will curse you for your peace. Or, use the fact that we've secured this oil--if we do--as an excuse to keep on sucking it up like there was no tommorrow. You'll create a self-fulfilling prophecy: there won't be one.

I am going to get a load of angry email about this, so if you think I'm right, or have something good to say about it, please do write also. I'll need the moral support!

Yesterday evening, I experiemented with PHASING into the Astral, with some success.  Here's my details of the process used and pending results.

As I originally posted about, when I first joined, my original 2 OBE's (spontaneous ... unexpected) occured by relaxing to the point, that my physical body went to sleep, while my mental awareness/consciousness never did.  I ended up entering into 2 Wake-Induced Lucid Dreams and then finally experienced 2 out-of-body projections.  This sets the stage for *my process* of Phasing, as I have always thought, that if I can *re-create* some of the original physical and mental parameters, then I could successfully duplicate the experience and it's awareness/clarity levels of mind/thought ... which I haven't been able to achieve from the sleeping state of OBE projection.

Here's what I did:
1)  Made sure I was mentally refreshed ... so I took a Brain Food supplement (Ascend 'N See) to ensure this.

2)  Turned on the lights in the Living Room so that I could SEE the RED GLOW
    from behind my eyelids.  This helps create a 3D space to stare into ...
    gives you SOMETHING to FOCUS ON *Externally*.

3)  Made sure that I was physically relaxed
    a)  Took GOTU KOLA 1/2 hour prior to experience
    b)  Sat down on our cushy couch so that head and body were
         fully supported

4)  Verbally stated INTENT of going OBE by transferring my Consciousness from my Physical Body to my Astral Body, just as I had done A Christmas last year.

5)  Relaxed while focusing on the red glow of eyelids.

6)  Relaxed my breathing to a normal breathing pattern ... didn't attempt *conscious* control of breathing to maintain awareness ... I let my breath "do it's own thing".

7)  After about 10-15 minutes, I noticed my body gradually numbing as if it was disappearing slowly.  At this point, I began getting the visual *Fireworks* of colorful swirls behind my eyelids.

 Focused on the swirling visual Fireworks.  At some point, I lost consciousness, because I was snapped back to awareness that an *Energy Tunnel* had formed in my visual field (now 3D).

9)  Placed visual focus on the 3D energy tunnel, which extended to a small hole at the other end ... which had a male face (perhaps my own ... looked similar) peering back at me.  This brought my awareness back too quickly and my physical eyes started working, which brought me partially out of trance.  I reclosed my eyes and could still see into the 3D visual field of semi blackness, with some very, very mild glow to it.  Occasionally, I could see what appeared to be movement in the field, as if someone was moving around in front of me ... perhaps I was at the beginnings of Astral Sight of someone/thing in front of me in the Real Time Zone (physical plane), moving about.

10)  Finally, after waking up even more, I decide to get up.

Notes on the experience:

Total time spent doing the exercise was 45 minutes.  Approximate time to Astral Tunnel, was approximately 35 minutes.  I had seen the Astral Tunnel, the other day, more clearly ... it appeared as a blackish-grey mildly lighted *black hole* forming in front of me.

I think this was a successful attempt at reproducing the OBE Phasing state, which I accidentally experienced a year ago.  If I practice this proceedure regularly, with INTENT, I think I will learn to Phase into the Astral quite easily.

This morning, after feeding our new baby girl @ 3:00am, I contemplated doing some Astral Projections, but instead decided to just sleep, seeing as how tired I was.  I finally went back to sleep @ 4:00am.

Anyhow, I apparently had two projections, the first of which was an unconscious projection into the RTZ, which was later confirmed a projection, by this morning's snow fall.

The second projection started out as an unconscious projection into the RTZ, but quickly escalated into a conscious projection (varying degrees ... not fully conscious).  The way I became *conscious* was due to a pressure feeling of contact on my back, along my spinal column.  At any rate, I become fully aware, while standing in the bathroom, looking in the mirror ... I am standing sideways at this point.  What *snaps* me to full awareness, is that there is an entity attached to my back, along the spine, with its back "merged" into my back, as if we're sharing the same spine.

Now, this entity has very interesting features.  It is humaniod in form, being a bi-ped, standing on two legs, with two arms and a head.  It stands about 6.5-7.0 feet tall and is super skinny ... so much so, that it's arms and legs would measure about 2.0" in diameter and its torso would be an ellipse measuring 8" wide by 5" thick.  Oddly enough, it has a huge head for its body ... the head being larger than a human head by 1.5" times.  This entity has light-tan skin tone, is naked and has no genitalia, that I noticed (I didn't get a chance to really look *good*).  Now for the facial/head features.  The best I can describe it, is that the head is a morphing of a human head, a goat head and the Camel cigarettes *cartoon* camel mascot head.  It has no hair, but rather *bulbs* of hair-like bumps that protrude out of the light-tan skin and are of the same skin-like material.

The entity appears to be *playing possum* (inactive), but when I touched its face, it responded as if mildly irritated and the "don't mess with me" attitude one would often get from certain species of dogs, when they don't want to messed with while sleeping.

So, I recite the following banishment, 3 times: "According to Spiritual Law, I banish you from my presence, to never ever return."  During the 1st recitation, the entity's face began to melt.  After the 3rd recitation, the entity had disappeared, leaving only a bloody/tissuey spinal cord in my hand, which I tossed into the bathroom sink (it's still *melting*) and I then spray "chemicals" onto it from a hair spray container ... it then completely disolves and I wash it down the sink.  OBE over at this point.

Keep in mind, that although, I have much awareness during this experience, I *act much differently* than during waking consciousness ... I am a different person.  My actions occur much more rapidly and I often wonder if my Sub-Conscious Mind and/or Higher Self are functioning much more so than my Conscious Mind.

What I would like to know, is if any of you have seen any Astral Entities that match this description and if you can share some information about them.  I am especially interested in knowing if Robert Bruce would shed some *light* on these entities, if he has seen them.

Lastly, the striking *coincidence*, is that this entity fits the physical description of size/shape of "The Visitor" I posted earlier this year about in: http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1633

The second projection started out as an unconscious projection into the RTZ, but quickly escalated into a conscious projection (varying degrees ... not fully conscious).  The way I became *conscious* was due to a pressure feeling of contact on my back, along my spinal column.  At any rate, I become fully aware, while standing in the bathroom, looking in the mirror ... I am standing sideways at this point.  What *snaps* me to full awareness, is that there is an entity attached to my back, along the spine, with its back "merged" into my back, as if we're sharing the same spine.

Now, this entity has very interesting features.  It is humaniod in form, being a bi-ped, standing on two legs, with two arms and a head.  It stands about 6.5-7.0 feet tall and is super skinny ... so much so, that it's arms and legs would measure about 2.0" in diameter and its torso would be an ellipse measuring 8" wide by 5" thick.  Oddly enough, it has a huge head for its body ... the head being larger than a human head by 1.5" times.  This entity has light-tan skin tone, is naked and has no genitalia, that I noticed (I didn't get a chance to really look *good*).  Now for the facial/head features.  The best I can describe it, is that the head is a morphing of a human head, a goat head and the Camel cigarettes *cartoon* camel mascot head.  It has no hair, but rather *bulbs* of hair-like bumps that protrude out of the light-tan skin and are of the same skin-like material.

The entity appears to be *playing possum* (inactive), but when I touched its face, it responded as if mildly irritated and the "don't mess with me" attitude one would often get from certain species of dogs, when they don't want to messed with while sleeping.

So, I recite the following banishment, 3 times: "According to Spiritual Law, I banish you from my presence, to never ever return."  During the 1st recitation, the entity's face began to melt.  After the 3rd recitation, the entity had disappeared, leaving only a bloody/tissuey spinal cord in my hand, which I tossed into the bathroom sink (it's still *melting*) and I then spray "chemicals" onto it from a hair spray container ... it then completely disolves and I wash it down the sink.  OBE over at this point.

Keep in mind, that although, I have much awareness during this experience, I *act much differently* than during waking consciousness ... I am a different person.  My actions occur much more rapidly and I often wonder if my Sub-Conscious Mind and/or Higher Self are functioning much more so than my Conscious Mind.

What I would like to know, is if any of you have seen any Astral Entities that match this description and if you can share some information about them.  I am especially interested in knowing if Robert Bruce would shed some *light* on these entities, if he has seen them.

Lastly, the striking *coincidence*, is that this entity fits the physical description of size/shape of "The Visitor" I posted earlier this year about in: http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1633

I haven't had any really good projections for about 3-weeks, due to the birth of our newborn daughter ... until last night.  Here's the OBE/Dream hybrid, with questions to follow.  Keep in mind this experience had no conscious awareness ... just conscious recall of the experience, this AM.

My wife gets up out of bed (astrally) and walks to the kitchen, so I immediately think to OBE and follow her.  I OBE by sitting up and onto the side of the bed, then exiting the room and walking down the hallway to meet her in the kitchen.  By this time, our house has changed to be my parents house I grew up in (recurring theme).  My wife is doing something at the sink, so I *attempt* verbal communication and she can hear me in the astral (recurring theme).  I then decide to increase my light radiation, illuminating my body with a white glow that originates from within ... and she can see me (recurring theme).  The glowing part is great ... 1st time I'd tried that!  My wife is nervous/anxious/semi-frightened about her seeing/hearing me astrally (recurring theme) and she won't describe what I look like OBE, even when I repeatedly ask her "What do you see?!  What do I look like?!"

I have had multiple OBE/Dream hybrids where I have interacted with my wife, or an aspect of her *self*.  Most times, she can see/hear/feel me.  Sometimes, she is *scared* or *unnerved* by the experience.  Upon waking, I have discussed some of these experiences with my wife ... and she can not recall anything of them ... if she is indeed ACTUALLY involved in them.  In waking consciousness, my wife is uncomfortable with me OBEing, due to lack of knowledge/experience of the OBE event and the possibility of encounters with demons in the spiritual realms.  Being a logical/analytical person, she's also unconvinced YET that I am having more than a "dream", yet open to the possibility.

So, now for some questions.

Do you think my wife is REALLY THERE in my experience, or am I projecting her from myself (like dream people)?

Could I be interacting with her Astral Self or Dreaming body?

What are you thoughts about the various recurring theme(s)?

What observations do you have about these experiences that would give me an objective OUTSIDERS point-of-view ... possible dream/obe interpretation?

The other night I had a dream with a Japanese prince (or so I thought).  He was going to perform a knighting ceremony with a Samurai sword.  I greeted him with the Japanese greeting "Konichiwa" ... to which he frowned some and corrected my that the more appropriate *greeting* was "Tan-Tao" (pronounced tan tow ... like the "ow" in "owl" ).

Does anyone know if "Tan-Tao" is a Chinese or Japanese phrase ... it seems more Chinese to me ...

P.S.  Later in the dream, this prince assisted me to OBE into a semi-aware OBE/Dream (astral plane projection *somewhere*).

I haven't had any Lucid Dreams in quite some time, as I have been focusing on inducing OBE's ... however, last night after doing the Wake-back-to-Sleep method, I started out by becoming Lucid in a dream.

Upon recognizing a friend in this dream, I became *aware* I was dreaming and interacted with him to the point that I concluded that he was a *shell person* constructed in my dream.

At that point, I decided to go exploring and started by raising my awareness level.  I did this be calmly repeating "Awareness now ... Awareness now" instead of DEMANDING it, like in the past (which didn't work!).  This time, though, everytime I said it, everything would increase in brightness and became more vivid with each repitition.  Also, each time I repeated the phrase, I could feel energy welling up inside of *me* to the point that I was *humming* ... ala pre OBE-type symptoms.

As I went exploring, I entered room that had a WWF (or should I say WWE) wresting *drama* going on.  Suffice to say, I was able to *enter* into the TV's reality and started interacting with the *actors*.  It was exciting to do this.

So, next time I see a TV, I will *change* the channel to where I *want to go* (lucid or OBE) and then *enter* into the TV screen!  Should be a great method for changing dream content!

About a week ago, I had an early morning projection from sleep. Upon gaining *some* awareness (similar to waking up ... it takes a little time for full awareness) while heading down the hallway from the bedroom ... I suddenly *stopped*, as if *held back* by an invisible force field.  My thoughts instantly recognized this as the Silver Cord holding me and wanting me back-in-body.

So, I slowly leaned forward, stretching through the invisible force and then continued down the hall way another 15 feet into the living room.  At this point, I turned around and SAW the silver cord, which was about 1/4-inch (6.35 mm) in diameter, made of thin individual strands that were interwoven with each other and having open spaces, so that they were loosely woven.

I did not see where the cord was attached to my Astral/Etheric body.  Interesting though, the cord was mildly *sticky* and was clinging to the wall (near ceiling) at various intervals, perhaps about 1-2 feet (30-60 cm) apart.  It then draped down through the bedroom doorway, towards the bed, where my body was laying.

It was an interesting experience ... what have you experienced with the silver cord?

Hi Everyone,
If you would, could you please pray for my wife and I ... last night was difficult for us.

Long story short, last night,Deanne confronted me about how we're growing apart in our BELIEFS and how paramount that is to the strength our relationship.

Deanne thinks that many of the things I now believe in (auras, Chakras, Energy body, OBEs), that the things I am questioning and wondering about (TRADITIONAL Christianity, Reincarnation, Ghosts, Spirits, healing) and the various many things I am interested in (various Psychic GIFTS) are WACKO and possibly harmful.

Deanne is afraid that I am becoming an Non-Christian (I'm not) ... which is the WORST thing that could happen to our relationship (she emphasized when we were dating ... that she wanted a strong Christian man that held the same beliefs as her ... at that time, I did ... now, I do not).

She wants us to meet with our pastor to "discuss" these matters, which I am fine with ... althought I have a feeling that what I discuss could cause our pastor some mental and spiritual anxiety (he's currently struggling already) and could possibly cause problems for our small church.

My wife has stated that "this" could end of our marriage [if I don't realize my errors & *change* back] (that's the hidden message I PERCEIVE).  I understand her concerns, since I used to "think" like that when younger (I too wouldn't date a non-Christian).  Deanne feels this is hopeless, if I am not *really* open for discussion (meaning I won't change my mind) ... it's interesting that she isn't *open* to considering my side (I know why though ... it doesn't fit into her belief system).

This is all frustrating and saddening to me.  In the past 10 months, our relationship has been improving daily, from near-separation (then) to much love (now).  We've grown much closer to each other, much more understanding, loving and accepting.  Now, we're 1-month away from the birth of our child and things seem *hopeless* (to Dee, not to me).

I think that this *could* eventually cause major positive growth in our marriage, growth for us personally, and I am hopeful that it will.  I fully realize that my wife might not be willing to accept what I believe, nor ever be interested in at least reviewing the NEW information that has brought me to this point in my life's journey and understanding of God.  I pray that God's pure Love Truth and Understanding would pour in us, thru us and from with in us ... for each other, for ourselves and for Him.  That our marriage would be healed and strengthened and the we both would GROW for our BEST and HIGHEST GOOD.  I love my wife and our unborn child and want us to suceed abundantly.

So, my friends, I simply ask that you send Positive Healing Prayers our way, and I humbly and sincerely thank you all for doing so.

Hi everyone,
Ihave couple questions, for our London/UK members, about Big Ben and the Thames River.  Please understand that I've never been in London, nor knew the orientation of Big Ben, in respect to the Thames River ... nor knew consciously (perhaps unconsciously) that the river through London was called the Thames River.

So, here's my questions ... afterwhich, I'll give a short reason why I am asking.  Thank you for some short answers!

1) Does the face of Big Ben reflect anywhere onto the Thames River?

2) Is there a stone boardwalk along the Thames River NEAR Big Ben ... where the face of Big Ben could be seen reflecting on the River?  Or has there been in the past?

Now for the simple reason behind my questions.  I had a *dream* that I was in London, on a stone board walk next to a River, which I intuitively knew to be the Thames River (it had some seimi-rapids/rough water there?).  It was night time, near full moon and I could see the reflection of a large clock face on the river, which I assume to be Big Ben.  The board walk was made of greyish stone and appeared "old" and possibly had areas that required walking down steps "into" the lower levels of the board walk. In the dream, someone walked up to me, handing me a stack of papers detailing 13 past lives with my current wife ... to which I thought, "I should study these for clues to our current issues."  Please note, I had no lucidity or mental awareness that I was either dreaming or OBE.

Since I've never *been* to London, I am wondering about the validity of any of these details as being REAL.  Thanks for taking a few moments to answer my questions!  Thank you!

I have had about a half dozen RTZ projections, which have included my wife ... and have some questions about these.  I'll post some examples for you all to review.  Note that each of these projections happen from a sleeping state, just prior to waking up in the morning, STARTING in a timeframe of 1-1.5 hours before getting up.  Each projection was induced using the WAKE-BACK-TO-SLEEP Lucid Dream/OBE method.

DAY 1
I become aware of sounds in our house, thinking I am awake (false awakening) and see my wife beside me in bed repeating a "mantra" phrase "XXXX is coming!" I can't remember who XXXX is ... this is the first time I recall seeing "The Visitor" in the bedroom (see http://www.astraldynamics.com/forums/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=&TOPIC_ID=1633 for details on "The Visitor")

DAY 2
I project and find myself in my parent's house.  I then find my wife in the dining room and she CAN see me and talk to me.

DAY 3
I project and end up in OUR kitchen, finally gaining some clarity and shutting down of emotion.  I decide to go back to our bedroom and see my wife sleeping.  I get there, she's laying on her left side in fetal position (later confirmed).  I reach out and put my hand on her back.  She feels my touch and verbally acknowledges that she knows I'm there.  SNAP back into body.

I project out again, ending up in our kitchen.  My wife is there talking to me.  I ask her, "So you can see me?" to which she replies, "Yes."  SNAP back to body.

I have a false awakening, to which my wife and I are discussing that she knew it was me that walked up to her in bed and touched her, and that she could see my OBE in the kitchen.

DAY 5
I have a false awakening to wall knocking sounds in our house.  My wife asks me, "What's that?" to which I reply, "It's a ghost." and then a white translucent form (like the cartoon caracter "The Shmoo") zips up to me and attaches to the side of my neck.  I now try pulling the aparition/entity off and it stretches (ala Robert Monroe experience).  I try various methods of pulling, etc., after which I ask Arch Angel Michael to remove it and it disappears.


So, I have had SIX projections that all have involved my wife ... and of the ones that I have asked her about, she does not have any memory of it.  So, is this a classic example of emotions affecting my OBEs ... causing them to be an OBE-Dream hybrid?  Could she be OBE as well ... and just not know it (be dreaming)?  My wife does not project and is skeptical of my projections.  She is open to the idea *if* I can prove it to her.  Any other thoughts on this?

BTW, my wife's affect and actions in all but the DAY 1 experience has been one of calmness.  However, if the DAY 5 experience were to happen in real life, she would be freaked out ... so I'm wondering what is the significance of these experiences?!?!?

Good morning everyone ... well morning to some ... afternoon to others!

For about 1.5 months now, every night before sleeping and every time I intend to project, I've been applying protection ... last night it was "tested" by some Astral Entity.

For those interested, the protection I've been applying is two-fold and simple.  I first pray the Lords Prayer and then ask God to surround me with a Golden-white shield of protective light, which is filled with His love, understanding, compassion and power.  Last night I asked that this shielding would originate both from Him and from the part of Him that is within me.  I also always ask for protection for my wife, unborn child and cat (yes, even the cat, too!) Lastly, I ask Arch Angel Michael to be my guardian protector during all projections.  

Now for last night's dream.  I dream that my wife and I are sleeping in a bed, don't know where ... it's not our room.  Then a beautiful red-head with green eyes (think of Maid Marion from Robin Hood Men in Tights) walks up to the bed on my side.  She smiles a sultry sexy smile and I see the vampire fangs.  As she's approaching me and prepares to bite my neck (my wife is watching all of this in the dream ... so she's a hollow dream person) getting about 6" away from my jugular.  Please note, that I am completely calm throughout all of this.  So, I suddenly begin saying "Love" at "her" and radiating it.  I repeat this about 5 or 6 times and each time I say it, her form flickers to that of a "demon" looking humanoid.  Now had I seen this thing in the waking hours, I would have been totally freaked due to fight or flight.  However, even though this thing was "ugly" it's coloration was extremely beautiful.  Golden yellow and redish skin tones.  

So the real question (rhetorical) is was this only a dream ... or was it a dream that was "crashed" by a neg?  Makes you wonder doesn't it?!

The various FOCUS "states" have been discussed here quite frequently ... I am only mildly familiar with Focus 10 and 12 from reading Robert Monroe's 2nd book.

Is there a website or some reading material that DETAILS EACH FOCUS "state/locale" ... or could someone break them down for me and list the details of each?  For example, Frank has mentioned that F-27 is the true afterlife and that F24, F25 & F26 are where the belief-system locales reside.  I'm interested in visiting the different Focus(es) and would like to know which are which.  Thank you!

Tisha gave you "THE CHALLENGE" to find out the 5 W's ... who, what, where, when and why they're visiting you.  Sometimes this is easy ... sometimes it's not ... depending on your thoughts at the time and depending on the intent of the visitor.

Hi Everyone,
You know that special state you're often in, in the morning, just prior to getting up?  You know, the one where you're in and out of dreamland ... waking up ... dozing off ... rolling over ... enjoying that comfy pleasurable feeling ... YEAH!  That's the one!  You've been in it before so you recognize what I'm referring to.  I believe it is referred toas the Hypnogogic State.

Well ..... I was in this state this morning, about 12 minutes before my alarm would officially go off.  My wife was asleep and rolled over, waking me up.  So, I rolled over, snuggling up next to her Spoon-style.  At this point, I'm fairly awake and have clear thoughts.

Next thing I know, I start doing the OBE Rope Technique ... spontaneously.  Up until now, the Rope Technique hasn't worked for me  because I often have to force visualization ... it just doesn't flow smoothly.  This time, though, I was already in an altered state and started doing it ... the thought seemed to "pop" into my mind (Higher Self perhaps?).  Here's the interesting "TWIST" on the technique.  However, instead of the rope hanging over my head, it was PARALLEL TO MY BODY coming out of the wall at my feet. I started pulling on it, EXPERIENCING the pulling sensations, instead of visualizing ... and I started to SEPARATE from my physical body ... with ZERO OBE Exit phenomena (sounds, vibes, etc.).  I could actually FEEL my astral body pulling up and away ... while at the same time, I could feel my physical body laying there (DUAL CONSCIOUSNESS ... very interesting).  I ended up pulling out clear to the waist, much like the "sitting up and out" method ... and then was stuck, my legs wouldn't come out.  So, I pulled harder and by the time I had pulled out, up into the air and back down to the ground I had entered into an OBE/Dream combo, due to losing awareness.  I then started talking to my wife, in the dream, about what I had just done and how it works!

I thought I'd share this technique with all of you.  Perhaps you would want to try it in the morning, when you're passing in and out of that marvelous state between sleep and awake!  Good luck!
