There is a way of knowing if I can ap anytime of the day and that is to try it. I will try during the day sometime. I am too busy this weekend to try to ap. I have tried to ap during the day before but I am mostly not successful. I have tried to ap without listening to a CD. Next time I will listen to the CD during the day and if I am successful I will let you know.

You don't relax your mind. You can't relax your mind. Relaxation is a purely physical activity used in order to "assist" you in forgetting about the physical. As I said, eventually you won't need to worry about relaxation and you'll "just do it".
You can be relaxed and fall asleep...
You can be not relaxed (even really stressed) and still fall asleep...
Can you be "too relaxed"? hehe That's a good question.
