When I astral project:
1. I get this severe case of blindness and deafness (I sleep with ear plugs and dark cloth over my eyes so I can rest better). Do you think the ear plugs or dark cloth over eyes has anything to do with this? I reckon that I should be able to get over this problem with more experience and that the plugs/cloth should not be a factor. When I say "Let there be light" during the OBE experience, I cant even hear my words.

2. I get this very sharp stream of energy going mostly to selective spots in my spine that causes an extreme amount of stabbing/piercing discomfort/pain which escalates to nearly unbearable levels. I can even put my hand in the way and it just moves a little to the side, as if something is selectively controlling the action. It does not hurt my hands at all. I reckon this is a positive sign of kundalini development. This happens mostly when I am just flying around in this blind/deaf weird AP experiences that I get. Can you shed any light on this?

TY once again..

There is a way of knowing if I can ap anytime of the day and that is to try it.  I will try during the day sometime.  I am too busy this weekend to try to ap.  I have tried to ap during the day before but I am mostly not successful.  I have tried to ap without listening to a CD.  Next time I will listen to the CD during the day and if I am successful I will let you know.

I feel I can now AP whenever I want, its just a matter of relaxing the body enough, as simple as that
Then dont move for 2 hours at least, and focus on light energy work/breathing, its easier than its hyped to be IMO

Thanks Xanth.

and thank you too suzy, its very nice to just get the whole issue out of the way with your clear perspective of liberation: "who the __ cares if you are relaxed or tired, it works anyway" tyy

Eventually, you'll find that "relaxation" doesn't really have much to do with "ability to project"... but for now, it seems like the paramount thing to your practicing.  :)

You don't relax your mind.  You can't relax your mind.  Relaxation is a purely physical activity used in order to "assist" you in forgetting about the physical.  As I said, eventually you won't need to worry about relaxation and you'll "just do it".

You can be relaxed and fall asleep...
You can be not relaxed (even really stressed) and still fall asleep...

Can you be "too relaxed"?  hehe That's a good question.  :)

""relaxation" doesn't really have much to do with "ability to project"."

you are the first to let me know..

So in your view, what are the main factors to at-will conscious OBE whenever you want?

1) How do you know your mind is relaxed enough to astral project? How do you know your mind is too tired to project?
2) How do you know your body is relaxed enough to astral project? How do you know your body is too tired to project?

Is there a relationship between relaxed and tired? Is there such a thing as too relaxed?

TY!
