For most people, yes, the knowledge of some past lives could be very detrimental to their progression and health, but the sort of person to pursue this venture would probably be the sort who collects information objectively, and only learns from the past, whether good or bad, knowing it cannot be changed(easily).  Of course, being Hitler, you would have a tremendous amount of karma to make up for......  but wouldn't the knowledge of that make you have something to strive for?  A reason to do more good, to counter things in the past?  Well, you should do as much good as you can really, but not everyone believes this, or follows this.

Hmm...  Please disregard the post that was here before.  I can handle things.

Don't ask how, don't try.  Just...  do, by the power that is you is.  ;)

Don't block anything.  In due time, you'll find the right attachment.

Like all things, the time it takes to be able to do anything is the amount of belief you have in yourself.

It would probably be possible to pass your memories over to another astral being, which would in turn make you remember your old self.  Or maybe even possible to be so in harmony with your subconscious to teach it that it would remind you itself upon your next life.  That is what hypnotists do to remind people of their past lives, aye?  So why can't you make an agreement with the subconscious to do so in the future.  Isn't that who stores all the information you gathered before, and unlocks it when you are given clues(any information?)?

The British spell color as colour actually.

To be exact, dimension refers to one of the laws/boundaries that define the universe, while universe defines everything in existence.  There are many dimensions is what I'm saying.  More than just height, length, width, time, and the astral(which is pretty much the combination of all of those, with the mind dimension being most dominant?).  I think that the other dimensions though cannot be perceived by us, because we don't have the proper receptors to view them.

Edit:  To clarify even more.  If you had not the sense of taste, even if awakened, would you know what a taste was, or even how to describe it?

Is it odd that I understand almost everything this person is babbling about?  I think someone needs a suit of armor...

"Natural laws have no pity."

"Stupidity cannot be cured with money, or through education, or by legislation. Stupidity is not a sin, the victim can't help being stupid. But stupidity is the only universal capital crime; the sentence is death, there is no appeal, and execution is carried out automatically and without pity."

A couple more Heinlein quotes.  :D  I like his writings...     ...and many of his quotes are amazing.

Anyways, the hill behind the place I live isn't as cool a place to meditate as the Buddha tree.  :)

Funny things, those obligations...

QuoteDo not confuse "duty" with what other people expect of you; they are utterly different. Duty is a debt you owe to yourself to fulfill obligations you have assumed voluntarily. Paying that debt can entail anything from years of patient work to instant willingness to die. Difficult it may be, but the reward is self-respect.
But there is no reward at all for doing what other people expect of you, and to do so is not merely difficult, but impossible. It is easier to deal with a footpad than it is with the leech who wants "just a few minutes of your time, please -- this won't take long." Time is your total capital, and the minutes of your life are painfully few. If you allow yourself to fall into the vice of agreeing to such requests, they quickly snowball to the point where these parasites will use up 100 percent of your time -- and squawk for more!
So learn to say No - and to be rude about it when necessary. Otherwise you will not have time to carry out your duty, or to do your own work, and certainly no time for love and happiness. The termites will nibble away your life and leave none of it for you. (This rule does not mean that you must not do a favor for a friend, or even a stranger. But let the choice be yours. Don't do it because it is "expected" of you.)
-Robert Anson Heinlein

My living space is a total mess, but I always know where everything is, if I'm the one who set it down last.

Just the other night, I had a lucid dream, where I was pulled through a black void while my crown and heart chakras vibrated intensely.  I would up in this weird room with nothing in it but a circular desk, and a phone.  A loudspeaker told me to call the number "660" if I needed to know anything.  I picked up the phone, and accidentally dialed 999 at first.  Trying again, I dialed the correct number and asked, "What am I supposed to do," and all of a sudden a very strange looking man appeared and told me to follow him.  After we took one or two steps, we appeared in the entryway of a K-mart or similar department store.  He simply told me to take of my clothes, and stand there for a while...  I didn't comply, and the projection ended.  I'm not quite sure what to make of it.

A friend of mine and myself like to do that sometimes, each one of us picking a bass or treble sound, and then weaving musical patterns together.  Of course, I can't remember any of it after it's done, but it is so much fun.

When I was attending High School and Middle School, I would wake up in the middle of the night, and instantly think of what time it was.  After walking out to the kitchen, I would find that it was exactly that time.  I don't find that all too odd...  but more relatively, during the same period of time, a casual glance at clocks would give me a time that always ended with ":20."  My favorite number(next to 3), and also my birthday(which oddly, considering previous posts is 11/20/84).

However many dimensions make up this spherical universe, I find it possible that there are numerous amounts that we cannot perceive, even with awakened abilities.  The reason being, perhaps, because we don't have sensors for them, that we are familiar with.  For instance, a being that exists in the height, length, width, time, astral realm(our primary existence), could share time and mind with us, but have three other dimensions which could equate to something totally unlike physicality, that you would have no idea how to understand it.  Through the astral dimension though, our souls might be perceived as such, floating about their universe, which overlaps ours, as we walk about our normal lives.  Hmm...  vibrations would probably be something shared throughout however many dimensions make up the definitions of this very strange place we exist in.  I see it as kinda a spider web, with a sphere representing each dimension...  with branches splitting off from each sphere to the other dimensions connected to it.  Kinda like the bonds between molecules, eh?  XD  Anyways, I can't say any of this with any certainty, I'm only speculating....  Any thoughts?

A tiny marble in the hand of a god?
A boulder, unliftable by ants, flawed?
Spinning around in their chaotic course.
Whirling, a vortex, headed for the source.

It starts at the beginning, ends there too.
It's course is twisted, without a clue.
A convulsing blob, of primal matter.
Old as time, reborn in the latter.

It contains our lives, but in us it's stored.
An aesthetic work, a musician's chord.
Who is the artist, who birthed such a crux?
His work is unsigned, yet continues to flux.

Is he like Escher, staring within?
Does he even bother to watch the worlds spin?
Has he gone elsewhere, not here to be found?
Observing the threads, who's path he wound?
A grain of sand, in the eyes of a god.
