I've been aware of this subject through science fiction writing and
films for a while but not in such a coherant way and not realising
that it was so far advanced.

I could spend a very long time explaining superintelligent AI's and
the sigularity that is predicted at the outside 30 years but as soon
as the first third of the next decade! However I'm not going to but I
will add some links to some very intresting and maybe more lucidly
written.

Reason to bother paying any intrest in this subject and following the

The whole thing definately needs to be thought about closely
especially with a spiritual/astral eye. It fits well with my pantheistic
leanings as I don't need an individual soul to be attached to my flesh
body but I can see where its going to conflict with other systems of
belief and spirituality.... especially about the bring frozen dead
people back thing.

I haven't been here in a while due to Astral Pulses downtime. Cheyyne your ideas are extremely exciting and exactly what the Astral Local/other shared meeting places in the astral need. Unfortunately the steam seems to have gone out of the effort on this project a tad.

I'm the webmaster at the Lucid Crossroads (or Astral Crossroads depending how you choose to visit), click my website button, which is a long term shared thats been going over two years now and is constantly developing. I'd like to integrate (join up) the Astral Local more firmly into what we do over there.

We would love your skills over at the Crossroads... I believe all efforts on the sharing of disparate people around the globes mobilities of consciousness should be pooled into a greater effort.

Right I've been in touch with Adrian recently and got his permission to intergrate the image of the Astral Island into the newly revamped http://www.lucidcrossroads.co.uk/

This image is from page three of a description on the site about the Lucid/Astral Crossroads (which ever you wish to call it). It shows three of the 10 dream doors open one view showing astral island. Hopefully this will make a link between the two places stronger and help you visualise better when you want to use a dream door to get to Astral island.

I hope there are more parts to the site that will be of intrest to Astral projectors...

P.s in a few weeks we'll be trying out something new a dream character that can lead you to the Crossroads or wake you from ordinary sleep to lucidity. Will take sometime as it going to be created in Lightwave so it can look ar real as possible.

Hi Low fellow lucid dreamers

I know quite a few of you wish that you could meet up in dream time and that quite a few experiments have been tried to mixed result all over the web. I've often thought that whats needed is a mutual dreaming enviroment, some where we can all visualise and recall when lucid.

To this end I've created the Lucid Crossroads http://mysite.freeserve.com/LucidCrossroads/Lucidhomepage.htm its not ment as a replacement to Astral Pulse or your other favorite forums (infact it doesn't have its own forum) but it will give a meeting place in either dream time or maybe given time the astral planes.

Sorry just got very busy and still busy. Off the top of my head and condensed into a line I think he has proved that there is no duality in the description of light. I'm intrested in this forum and will participate when I get a break in my life, I've a very basic grouding in school physics and a dabblers understanding, having read hawking and popular physics books. Clifford Pickovers "Surfing through Hyperspace" and Arnold Mindells "the Quantum Mind" are books that I've read that I imagine are specifically relevent here.

Thanks Jas, I hope you suceed, its a real rush to transport your conciousness to a place that doesn't exist here but one that others keep in their minds throughout the world.

following your statement doesn't it mean that if Shahriar Afshar's experiment is true (and its seems good science) then Quantum Metaphysics explains the Copenhagen and Many Worlds interpretations of Quantum Mechanics that is now NOT true (not science)?

I took a weekend to do the images of the space and it was designed as a space that had duel presence both in lucid dreams and on the astral plane. It hasn't changed much except for I put a dojo nearby as I wanted to practice my martial arts whilst lucid.

The revamp will take a while as I'm going to be really going to town on the quaility and scope of the place as well using a whole new batch of upto date software.

And yes you right it will still retain its odd but calm feel but be more natural in its surroundings. More elements will be specifically aimed at astral projectors, at mo there are the doors, mirror to leave your body into etheric projection, pool to do same. There will also be plenty to do when your there.

Anyway as I say its been there for a year now and if anyone has suggestions for the revamp mail me at the Lucid Crossroads. Impossible to please all but I'll try to take as much into account as I can.

If anyone does make another such place let me know and I'll place a specific doorway from the lucid crossroads visuals to the new area.

Did I check the invisible box when I posted?? I'm a proffessional artist who's created an Astral/lucid local already infact its been there a year. Whats more when I get time in the next 4 months I will be doing a major redesign and am looking for ideas!

Portals, a circle like space, central water feature, own up who's been reading my mind!

The whole site will be overhawled within six months and many of the changes I'm going to make will be of direct benifit to AP/OBers. Also some of the points you've raised in this thread have second guesed the changes to be made to the site.

Have a look at the site and tell me what you'd want to see or have changed as there is still time before I crunch it all though a new generation of computer software that will make the place look far far beyond what it does now.

The Lucid Crossroads will be getting a massive revamp in about six months time. There will be far more for the astral travellers and those intrested in etheric experiences. I'll also be updating the astral part of the site as I've had alot more experince with this side recently.

But in the meantime let me know if you reach there and leave your body via the mirror (which I don't think anyones done yet).
