Hello everyone,

I am no expert at OBE. Quite frankly I have done only a few spontaneous ones but could not achieve one on my own yet.

Sometimes when I am on the verge of sleep I can feel it coming and I recognize the feeling. I then consciously keep my mind awake to actively experience it.

The problem is that since I have been trying to do this. Every time I feel myself coming out of my body, at some point I feel a sharp pain right at the back of my head just above the neck. I have tried to just relax, let it go on its own, not pushing it. But the pain remains and becomes sharper the more the process of separation goes on. The pain becomes so severe that I always return to a full awake state.

as this ever happened to any of you?

Thank you

Hello Skamoni,

I truly understand how you feel. I was troubled with the same questions not to long ago.

consider why you where driven to the unknown in the first place. Many of us are are drawn because we fell that there is so much that we do not understand about the world, life and its potential. There is still many mysteries that needs to be discovered and understood, until then it is always open for debate. Having faith can be hard, but not as hard as you might think.

Yes there is plenty of charlatans out there playing with these mysteries, ridiculing the hidden truth. Making many people doubtful. And yes we may be unaware that many of things we deem paranormal could be explained quite logically. Like unconsciously blowing on a psi wheel (example).

The paranormal is not about blind faith, it is about exploration and questioning. It is a quest to find the truth, to find new potential of the mind and our world. It is not an easy path but a very interesting one.

I understand it can be hard when we practice a certain  path that is still widely misunderstood. We are bound to to make mistake, fool ourselves, take a wrong turn. But in this kind of field we have to set our ego aside and focus on the learning, and our patience and dedication will perhaps one day make us the pioneer of the discovery of a wider truth.

Now until then, there is no need for blind faith, only faith is necessary. Our world is so vast, our mind so complex, that everything could possibly be true. So if you do not wish to believe in these things, you can at least believe in its possibility, for there is always one until proven otherwise.

Good luck to you

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if the experience I am about to explain could be Kundalini energy related or something else. If it is not please feel free to tell me if you have any idea of what it could be.

When I initially met my husband, I started to talk to him about spirituality, chakras, energies and the likes. He then explained and showned me something he can do for as long as he remembered; thinking I could perhaps shed some lights on the matter. With the knowledge I possess, I believe it could be Kundalini, although I cant be entirely sure since I have never felt it myself.

Here is what he feels

he builds up energy at the area at the base of is spine. He tells me it is intense and he sees it in is minds eye as a pure white energy. He can either leave it in that area or release it all throughout is entire body or up or down. He cannot do it while he walks, only in a stationary position. His mind is is always entirely focus on the energy, never waving to any other toughs. While all of this is going on he feels an awareness of is entire body. He described it as being very intense, energizing and almost sexual in nature. He can do it at will and was able to do it for as long as he can remember, even as a little kid.

When I look at him when he releases the energy, he really does look like he is having a good time    But another strange thing happens, the pupil of is eyes always grow extremely large almost covering all of the iris.

any toughts are welcome :D

very interesting subject and one that I have thought about a lot since my mother is chronically depressed.

It is hard to know the answer since I am not sure if one really knows what a spirit is entirely made of and what exactly of our lives survives after deaths.

But if we keep it simple and we think that our spirit is the same as ourselves minus the physical body, then yes I would think that depression could very well follow us at death. Usually depression is deeply rooted by certain experience that where traumatizing. If we think that our soul is here to learn and grow trough physical experience, then there is a good chance that it holds that information too. As long as it is not healed it will follow you.

now on the other hand we cant underestimate the damage it does to the brain. A prolonged depression tend to condition us that way. This is where chemical imbalance comes in, when the problem has been ignored for too long. For these people it is easier to first heal their conscious mind, then go to the root.

My mother as an example is such a beautiful spirit and a great loving heart. But her mind is clouded and she does not even recognized who she really is. Her heart tells her one thing, but voices in her head tell her many others negative, contradictory thoughts. This has been going on for more than twenty five years now, her brain is probably all programmed into a chaotic way. Now even before she can heal her spirit side of herself she has to recondition herself into a more positive way of life. This is no easy task

For a better healing, she would needs to restart at point zero, unlearn everything and relearn the proper way.

as said earlier pills only dull the pain. I know since she took them and when she stopped she was back to square one.

all of this paragraph to say that for those extreme cases I think that the pain would be less when they die. The spiritual pain would be there, but the brain confusion would be out of the way.

Still although the physical can be an obstacle into healing depression, I still believe that death is not the answer and someone will learn a lot from overcoming all of these challenges and come out of it stronger than ever before. A hard and tedious path but full of wonderful lessons.

now it may not be that simple, perhaps our spirit is more complicated than what proposed above. But for the sake of this discussion I will leave it at that

Hello everyone,

I just stumble upon this site and it looks absolutely great. I feel bad that this will be my first posting, but I am in dire need of healing energy right now, so I have to set my ego aside

I usually always practice self healing and found that it worked very well for me. Unfortunately for this instance as much as I try, I cant do a thing and it keeps getting worst. I am now unable to walk or sit without excruciating pain. If it does not heal, I will need to have an operation. It is not a big one but nevertheless painful. Also very painful to wait until such a time since I have to sit all the time at work. I never found anything in my life that made me really scared and when I did I would face it and be fine. But in this instance I am afraid, and I do not know how to face it anymore, I tried and failed.

I would prefer not to say any more details but if any of you can send some healing energy my way, it would be extremely appreciated. :)

Thank you for your consideration
