Welcome to Dreams! / How can I lucid dream?!??
December 27, 2012, 01:28:11
I've read plenty of things about lucid dreaming and astral projection (which is the long term goal) i started trying 3 days ago. I kept a dream journal but only remembered barely anything from my dreams let alone be lucid in one. I've tried reality checks (I plug my nose under doorways to see if I can breathe) but still no success, today is day 3 and I didn't even remember anything from my dreams. I've tried repeating to myself "I will lucid dream tonight" as I go to sleep. Can anyone help me plz?

So what I'm doing is right? That's good to know thanks. I just keep doing that and eventually  it will  work?  And when I get to the white wall part what should I do? Just focus on it?

Last night I tried to astral project again . I layed down at 10pm listened to binaural beats  and white noise 6hz then after about 10-15 minutes I started feeling lifted up and heard a lid buzzing that filled my ears and my vision (I was daydreaming or something) snapped to a white wall of mist that felt like I was being pulled into it I tried focusing on that feeling but I felt it slowly slipping away until I saw my eyelids. Was I doing it right? Wat went wrong? What should I do to fix it? Thank you

Is "physical world" better?

Thanks and is it possible to find your spirit animal or guide in the astral?

Well when I tried using the binaural beats I had trouble visualizing I probably won't use them for astral travel but they do calm me down so thanks everyone

I have been reading ALOT about astral travel and lucid dreaming and I was just thinking that if astral travel is just being aware in your dreams well I just want to get done things clear anyone plz answer these truthfully I'm getting confused.  1. If astral travel takes place in your dreams then does this mean that everything you dream about has its own 'realm' I guess you could say in the astral? Like the giant spiders you might dream about they live in the astral or is that just the dream?   2.  The astral is it differant for each person who goes there or is it the same for everyone?   3. Can astral travelers see others real people who are astral traveling as well?     4.   What exactly is the astral? A place in your mind? A differant realm/dimension ?? Thanks

Yes that's what happened I saw a white wall if mist but when I tried focusing on it i came back to the real world and saw my eyelids and my whole body was numb and kindof vibrating was I doing it right? Is their anything I can do to improve my success rate?

So the binaural beat app I use is called ibrainwave  and it has a option to put it to a certain frequency I always put it to 4.5 which it says us meditate mode and It did not help at all so is their anything else I  can try ?

So I'm new to all this and have bee trying to astral travel and just had a few questions.  1. I have a binaural beat app on my iPod and was wondering how long do I keep the theta brain wave beat going? During the projection or when should I stop it and should it be loud or quiet ?   2. OBE I know is when you are like a ghost but your in the physical world and is astral travel when your in a type of differant dimension? Also I've heard you can meet other beings like your spirit animal is this true?     Thank you

So I've been learning about astral travel for about thre days and last night at nine I attempted it last night first I turned off my radio dimmed my lights  then I layed down on my backing my bed under a light blanket and started meditating focusing on my breathing. I did this for about thirty minutes until I blacked out and then I guess "came back" and was aware of what was happening my body felt all like tingling or vibrating especially my arms and my visions was all white I was a little freaked out because I didn't know what to do next and slowly my vision turned black and I was aware if my body again and awake. I tried again with the same results but not as strong. So can some one tell me what happened was I on the right path ? What am I supposed to do to start the astral travel? I've heard that you are supposed to find a door but all I saw was white.

I have been reading about it and from what I understand you just meditate and some of that music in the background I don't remember what it's called but its something with a B and then you get to theta? Stage and something like that could someone who has actually done it explain to me in detail everything I need and a walk through and tell me what's it's like thank you
