Seven Sisters,

I watched your film and I must say, it brought tears to my eyes.  It is indeed beautiful.  As I watched it, an inner question formed, one that many of us ask.  Just what in the hell are we doing to something so magnificent?

Thank you for sharing this.

Welcome to Astral Consciousness! / ASTRAL PORTAL

Wow!  This is really cool.  I got a little blurry eyed and my eyes were stinging a little so I lowered my eyelids until they were about half open and that seemed to get rid of the problem.  I didn't actually get pulled into it, but the circles were suddenly moving and losing shape.  They almost seemed to be blending together at one point.   An off-white mist formed over the orange circle in the center and 2 rays of mist were coming out from the center.  One was aimed toward the right side of my right eye and the other was aimed to the left eye.  Really weird but fun.  I did tend to get sleepy as well.  I can see where this could really work with a little practice.  Thanks Frank.

Apparently it is true.  Unfortunately I can't get the link to work here, but if you go to yahoo search,(the article was on yahoo news), at the very top of the search results page by the red "y" it says "News Results for Google".  Listed under that catagory (2nd one down) you will find the news article.

Hi Frank,

I don't mean this to sound mushy, but the fact is that you have a lot of forum friends here who care about you and your well-being.  You already know this I am sure, but in my experience, this is one of the most powerful forces there is.  All the best to you.

Good question Mactombs.  I suspect that we would have to ask for non-physical assistance on this one.   Boy, wouldn't it be something if some of us could actually find him?  Especially if it could be verified.

At the same time we would also be proving Monroe and Moen's point that privacy is an illusion!!   :P    Tee hee...wonder what Frank would have to say about that.

Hi Froglet,

I just got the Wave 1 CD's too.  I will post results later on after I have had a chance to work with them a little bit.  I have had this blackout problem too, before getting the CD's.  Once, recently while I was practicing the noticing exercise, I blacked out after viewing what looked like a movie scene, only it wasn't (I don't think).  It was in full color, had motion and also a light snowy effect like you might see on an older filmstrip.  Next thing I knew, I was awake in my mind but still physically asleep.  It was really weird because I have no idea where I went when I blacked out.  Sounds like it is fairly common though, so I guess the only thing to do is to keep practicing.  Maybe there is a way to go back and recapture the "lost footage" as it were.

Procrastination has always been my biggest weakness.  This is really weird considering that I am a fairly organized person.  Then I take a look at my daily schedule, usually a mental schedule and find that I have placed the things that are really important to me at the end of the list instead of at the beginning or at least the middle.  I am working on breaking out of this rigid type of thinking that I was raised with and since I am currently living alone now, I am more or less free to do that.  I really feel the need to place more of an emphasis on my practice sessions right now and I have been doing that and getting some good results.  The heck with everything else!   :P   Just kidding.

Frank,
Welcome back!   :D

Hi all,

Interesting topic here.  I have tried to do some experiments with this with the following results:

(1) I found that it is possible for me to watch myself thinking, feeling an emotion, or physically doing something.  So is the real me the one thinking, feeling and doing or is the real me the one who can stand back a little and observe me doing these things?

(2) I found at times, for just a split second or two that there is another part of me that can watch me watching myself doing these activities.  This is really bizarre and I wish I could hold it long enough to really study it as I find this to be the most interesting one.

I wonder how far one could take this with practice.  Is there another part of me that can observe me observing me observing me?  I suspect there is and maybe the farther back I can go with this, the closer I will be to finding the true me.  Maybe it is like a trickle down effect.

It is possible that the "masks" that I use during my  physical waking time are just manifestations of egos or personality that wishes to present itself in a certain way to others but is not the true me.

Hope this isn't as confusing to read as it is to experience.   :D

Ooops!  The link is not working.  Sorry.  Just go to Astral FAQ and click on topic "What is Phasing and how can I do it?"  Frank discusses "noticing" there.

Try here.

http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/viewtopic.php?=17413

You can also do a search on the word "noticing" and come up with a whole bunch of helpful posts.

I am having a great time working with the noticing technique.  Enjoy.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Are you normal ?
July 21, 2005, 09:24:35
It got me too.  Red Hammer.  Oh well,  as long as being normal doesn't equate with not being able to get results from one's efforts to get to other focus levels, then I'm okay with that.  Ha ha!  Just realized that most so-called "normal" people don't usually participate in websites like this.

Btw, what is "normal"  anyway?  Anyone know?

Having lived through the horror of 9/11 when I was living in NYC, I know that the aftermath of a terrorist attack can be traumatic beyond description.  My heart goes out to all those people in London who are now suffering as a result of this senseless crime of violence.  My condolences to all who have lost a loved one or a good friend in this horrific act of violence.

Can't help but wonder what the powers that be at the G8 Summit are going to try to slip by us while the attention of the world is focused on the crisis in London.

Well, I have found that rich foods such as pizza too close to sleep time will send me straight into the lower astral realms aka nightmares!!

Hans,

Thank you for pointing that out.  At this point in time, I have to say they did indeed seem very real.  I woke up crying from the most intense, but in a good way, contact.   I say that because I feel that one may have been a Focus 3 one.  I actually woke up crying.     The weird thing is that I have never told anyone about this dream until now.  At any rate, I think you are right.  I am going to wait until I can get to Focus 3 before I try to initiate anything on my own.  Again, thanks.

Hi,
I have had many dreams which I can clearly recall that involved meeting with deceased relatives.  At the time, I had no idea what was going on and just considered it a dream.  I can now see how they were most likely Focus 2 experiences.  They were very lucid but I had no idea that I was dreaming.  It seemed as though I was really there.  This is all okay with me because now I can look back and see where my thoughts/feelings/beliefs about these people were probably taking on the form of the person.  Again, this is okay with me because it seems to be a very valuable learning tool for helping me to learn about myself.  Next time this happens I hope I can remember all this as I hope to engage in a dialog with myself via whatever "form" I am perceiving there.  Hope this makes sense.  I see it as a possible learning tool for clearing out a bunch of unnecessary junk that can hold me back.  I hope to be able to get to Focus 3 and meet deceased relatives and friends for real.  In the meantime...Focus 2, here I come!

TVOS,

Thanks for the encouragement.  Gee, you seem to have a lot of experience in OBE.  The only thing I can think of to say to you in return is...EXPECT QUESTIONS!  A LOT OF THEM! :P

Hi Hans,
ap is simply the initials of a name.  Lol...it doesn't mean astral projection or astral pulse.

fliesatnite: Your screen name is great!  Says it all.
(Hopefully we will all be able to do this)

I'm new here too.  Welcome.  There sure is a lot to read and practice here.

Hi TVOS,
Glad you were able to retrieve your journals.  I checked the wayback machine and typed in the following link in my address window and it works so here goes for anyone who wants to access Spiritweb archives directly:
http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.spiritweb.org.

I found that clicking on Dec. 27, 1996, scrolling down and clicking on where it says Introduction took me to that page and from there you can click onto whatever topic you want.  A lot of the links don't work because they were not saved but I was amazed to find out just how much is saved.

You asked how long I have been projecting.  About 6 years now, but they have all been spontaneous RTZ types or LDs.  I am here hoping to learn how to gain some measure of control over this.  I am working on Frank's phasing methods now, so we'll see what happens.  "nuff" said.  This is your welcome thread, not mine.   Hope to see you on the forums.[/quote]
