I never had an OBE, and I am not sure if I believe that's possible...
I've always been quite scientific minded... but also, I never close myself to any ideas or interpretations, and I'd really like to explore the posibility of getting out of your body.

What shall I do when that buzzing and paralysis occurs again?????

I don't know much about OBEs, or maybe nothing...
So you reckon that the best thing to do is to relax when that happens, and then what? do you see yourself out of your body?
I have to say that that scares quite a lot, but I think that's just a fruit of my ignorance...

Hello all,
This is my first time in this forum and I would like to share my experience with you and have your skilled opinion about it.
I am pretty sure that what happened to me it would be nothing compare with your experiences, but it almost made me poo in my pants...

What I have experienced I believe is called sleep paralysis, and according with some doctors, it does what it says in the tin... you can't move while sleeping.
This is the third time it happens to me. First starts with a buzz that it gets louder and louder in matter of seconds and it gets to the point of feeling like you have your ear next to a jet engine! Then I feel a very heavy weight on all my body but especially concentrated on my chest, and I can't move at all. It last for a few minutes, and it's seriously terrifying!!
The second time when it happened, it was also scary but because I already experienced it before, it wasn't too bad.
The third time, I was a bit more calm thinking, let's see where this could take me and tried to relax, but I couldn't really... but the strange thing is that I felt like if someone was holding my hand, but strangely enough, I wasn't scare...

I'd love to hear your opinion about my experience. What is this for? Why that loud buzzing? I heard that this is the first stage for leaving your body... is this true?

A bit of light on this matter would be great and I hope I am not boring you with beginners issues.

Kind regards,

Turi.
