I think it maybe that because i was unaware of the human ability to do such things that i may have lacked the fear.

(This is if I was leaving my body, I'm not saying I did for sure)

I also recall very vivid dreams as a young child; of my self floating towards my window these always scared the excrement out of me and i would wake very suddenly sweating buckets. But i think these were probably just recurring nightmares, why they scared me so much i don't know.

Its just since i heard about astral projection things have started to come back to me, and it seems, and I'm not saying it is an explanation, that this could be an explanation.

Anyway I'm set on doing it for real now and i wont stop till i can do it without any difficulty.

Hi, i'm new here my names Richard, Im 20 and a tutor/student from Scotland.

This is question i couldn't find the answer to in FAQ,s forgive me if i have missed it.

Anyway, Ive recently become determined to project after my friend introduced me to the concept not long ago. However it also got me to thinking that i may have already achieved it inadvertantly. I was hoping someone could help me.

Well, what leads me to think this is occaisions where i have been woken in the early morning when i have had to go to school, university, work....etc. But have remained half asleep, at the same time i have been trying my hardest to wake fully because i know i have to be places on time but my body simply dosn't let me. I find waking very difficult even after 12 hours of sleep (probably my age). At this point i will my body to get up and get ready get a shower and go. And i do it, i get up walk to the bath room and usually at this point i'm woken again for real (physically) but realise i have overslept and am running late. This has happened more times than i can count. The experience is very, very, clear, clearer than most dreams although i can't say they are as clear as total conciousness, but very close.

I always dismissed this as an inconvenient dream that makes me late  , but is it possible that I am inadvertantly projecting?  :?
