Did anyone in the UK watch 'Wonders of the solar system' on Sunday night?

Part of what it was explaining was how when two planets in our system aligned (past by eachother and for a time travelled parallel) and the combined gravity was enough to push Pluto way out to the farthest reaches of our solar system.

Now, doesnt 2012 also mention an alignment - though of all the planets? I always wondered what the 'energy' 'effect' was and this combined gravitional force might be it.

Any thoughts?
