If nothing happens in 2012 what would you do? This question is mainly for the hardcore belivers of the golden age but anyone can join in ^_^

For me personally I'd start learning to play dungeons and dragons and magic the gathering so I can join clubs full of geeks and become a great master of rpg games. I also like to find a nice belief (prolly gnosic or jedi) and just live in my own little fantasy world till my time is over.
Firmly understand that there is no joy or sorrow in this world. If you believe worldly objects are a source of happiness, in their absence you will feel sorrow. Accept the fact that there is no true happiness in the world.

The choice is up to you as to what will happen.  There is no point in asking others what will happen as we must ask ourselves.  There is also no point in telling others what will happen as we need only tell ourselves.  Each individual's reality is their own.

Just live your life. Climb every mountain, ford every stream, travel every byway until you find your dream.

Realize that the "destination" isn't the goal.  It never was, and it never will be.
The destination is a never ending path to the goal.  ;)

Indeed... "a dream that will need all the love you can give, every day of your life, for as long as you live".

Life is for living and that the living of that life has no ending to strive for. Live every moment, since every moment is the seed of all possible futures.

Number are numbers. The only time they mean anything is when you have them in your bank account.
If something happens, then it does, if it doesn't, oh well life moves on. At least... for me anyways

In all ways, strive to enlighten those around you.

It is an emo way of looking at this if nothing does happen. Look at all the spiritual people that belives this 100% and has proved that it's real etc and then you get books and Internets risking what may not happen but they belive 100% it will. I notised the admin has done the same and made books and giving out mini lectures etc. There's a video (which I haven't watched) which talks about 2012 and how it will lead to genocide and I can see this taking place if nothing happens. So many people belive they are "waking up" and join in spiritual groups that 100% supports 2012 and filling there heads with magical stuff and evidence plus the conspiracys to spice things up.

For me of cause I'll just move on and I'll never belive anything or anyone on the hole "golden age" dates and there "evidence" again. I just hope all the hardcore belivers can move on if nothing happens. This awaking thing has affected all ages from teens to adults and it would be  horrifying to find millions of teens killing themselves cause of this 2012 hype....

We pretty much murderd this genaration >_>

Hardcore believers never move on- they just look for another date.  Eschatology has been with us since people learned to write- could be because we are aware of death and know there is an 'end' to physical life.  So of course, it translates into a cultural obsession with the finality.  So, if 2012 comes and nothing 'globally final' happens, someone will come up with another date.  I believe some groups already decided that 2026 (or somewhere along that time) the "real" end is and will be- so as long as we have humans capable of thinking of the future and writing about it, we will have belief in "end days".  Even if it's millions of years from now.

I'm gonna say that the year 1,020,992 will be the end then.  :)
