Title: Alpha and Omega.
Post by: *LightProtector* on April 16, 2010, 03:50:15
With the end of something, we have the start of something else.

I wish to ponder with you all. To express my own thoughts. Whos says im right? Who says im wrong? only God truelly knows right? Right!.

Everything we percieve is filtered by our perspections and believes. Eg. To a muslim there is just no way the christians are right. They just will not believe in anything else. They have closed there mind.... in the name of faith? blind faith maybe.

Any research into the muslim religion will reveal this fact. He married a girl... and had sex with her when she was 9 and he was about 25... now most muslim will say but it was different back then. That it was. But really... a true prophet wouldnt do that because it is wrong what ever way you look at it.

Now the christian religion is even worse (dont get me started on the catholic boy rapists!)
Not only did jesus simply want jews to be better jews, he disapproved of any religion that requires big fancy stone buildings to be  recieved by god.

We are all like birds in a cage. We are meant to be free... happy.. instead we work at jobs we mostly dont even like so we can buy excrement we largly dont need.

I was far more patient as a younger teenager. Now im of the believe...  this world is over populated and when the world falls apart im going to happly take care of my friends and family. The savages better watch out.
Thanks for reading my ramblings

It's so much worse out there than where your cognitions have taken you.

Im down tho.  Got my zombie shelter and supplies.

Is it sad that I have a zombie plan but not a tornado or fire plan?

Taoism is in my opinion the best faith of all...u can use taoism religiously or philosophically. and any taoist will tell you, myself included, that you shall do what though wilt because it is the whole of the law. <ok so that last part was a little bit crowley-like but you get my point i'm sure>

but yes, very valid points if i dont say so myself. i believe you might be onto something there.

there comes a time when all faiths, paths, traditions, religions, philosophies, whatever, are no longer relevant.

All religions is non-relevant already. Religion just locks us up, it makes us search externally for things which are completly interal. Want to find God, look inside yourself. Prayer and anything related to prayers in any religion is an internal process, people just assume they are praying to an external being. It is so frustrating to watch how people are blinded and then used.

What has any religion ever done?
Did it ever give anyone true happiness or peace of mind? Did it ever help anyone solve the question of who they are without forcing a BS answer on them like: "You are here because your Gods tool" bla bla bla

Religion is for people who are lost
Buddhism is for people who can't make it in this world and retreat. Enlightment is something achievable in this world, no need to give up everything. Probably most Buddhist aren't even enlightened and are just pretending... (this is what one of my mentors told me who has extensive knowledge in this area and has shown me a great deal, if you believe this it is up to you.. I am not saying that this is true since I cannot verify this)

Mastery is beyond all culture.

And you saying that having sex with a 9 year old is wrong no matter what the time period is just ridiculous.

Nature dictates that a girl is ready for intercourse once she can menstruate, that is when she is able to conceive.

But still, you making that claim is just as deluded in human morality as you claim a muslim is.

Most human females don't menstruate until they're eleven or twelve.  Nowadays the norm is around tennish because of all the estrogens we put in our environment.  So most possibly in the standards of the time, a nine year old isn't old enough, more than likely didn't have any physical sexual characteristics.
I'm just sayin', in certain places they marry too young because people die early, but a nine year old is a child.

I'm not arguing that CFT.

But it bothers me when people run their mouths about something one culture does being wrong.

Wrong based on what!??!

One human system of morality isn't any better than another.

And, I know girls who started menstruating when they were 9, even some at 8.

I'm not saying, "OK, play ball!", I'm just saying that if we were to get morality from anywhere nature would be my choice.

Let's put the child marriage thing aside for now, because it's not really the basis of the discussion here.

Let's focus on the LightProtectors original topic...

We can leave the examples out for now.

Try setting aside the examples the OP gave and base your replies upon the quotes.

You are really crackin down.   :x

Sometimes you have to call out the example because it may seem erroneous to some and finding a proper link between the example and the point can be confusing.

Though I do understand fully that this is how threads get derailed.
