Apparently... there is no alignment either.

Isnt it earth... the sun... and the centre of the galaxy? The sun between earth and galactic central point?

Szaxx

It should line up towards Sagittarius. That's the centre roughly.
11 mins left, nothing but rain. Nothing to see.  :|

11:13 now, not dead yet?  :?

Archangel Ady

When I woke up I did feel a strange frequency going through my head, but it was very weak and subtle.

Volgerle

I'm dead, as far as I can tell.

I woke up and thought for certain there should have been a time change over the night, I woke up an hour earlier than normal and every time I looked at the clock I thought it should have been an hour later.

Some people have no power from the rain/wind. That's all I've got to contribute so far from EST..

Nobody ever freaks out when our calendar flips over... Hell, we party when it happens.   The Mayan calendar is no different, it just takes longer to flip.

The one thing this Mayan Calendar did achieve is it made a mass public aware of something "outside the box", outside of their normal existence or "comfort zone".

For a second people everywhere in the World, regardless of race, color or creed, thought, "what if", if only for a brief second. That's exactly what it takes to change the World, people opening their eyes a little wider.

Remember "baby steps"!  :-)

Greetings all.
And Happy end of the Mayan calendar day to all!  :-D
Actually I am in agreement with the majority here in that I find the end of the Mayan calendar much less interesting than the interpretation of that event by some people to be the end of the world/catastrophy etc.
There is no known historical or archeological reason for such an interpretation and we can then, hopefully, move on to more important events.

I found this comment on YouTube and I knew this would happen to the believers.

"]well...all 12.21.2012 has brought me is sadness. Sadness because I got left behind. It's 11:20 and I feel like a fool. No ascension for me. I need some sort of proof that changes are coming otherwise its time for me to say goodbye to this world. The one thing Im certain of is I dont belong in a world of corruption and dishonesty. Im tired of getting bonked over, I cant just turn around and bonk somebody else over to compensate for it. If youre for real, prove it... NOW"

The problem is that no body has "step out of the box". All they've done is step into another belief system thinking there eyes are opened and out of the box only to find that nothing has changed. This poor person will suffer now and millions alike may end there life's because they don't want to be in this world anymore. I'm so glad I got out of the 2012 cult when I studied scriptures of the world.
Firmly understand that there is no joy or sorrow in this world. If you believe worldly objects are a source of happiness, in their absence you will feel sorrow. Accept the fact that there is no true happiness in the world.

Bedeekin

Some people haven't 'stepped out of the box'... 'nobody' is a very sweeping statement.....

"All they've done is step into another belief system thinking there eyes are opened and out of the box only to find that nothing has changed. This poor person will suffer now and millions alike may end there life's because they don't want to be in this world anymore."

let them. There's nothing anyone can do... besides.. its cruel to say it but maybe this is actually a natural selection for those who will never change.

majour ka

Thank god all that stupidity and superstition out the way now.....!

That's very true.

This COULD have been the START of something special!  :)

Myself, I am much more worried about the days after today, when people are forced to come to terms with the fact that their pet doomsday or ascension is not happening.

Disappointment is a terrible fate afterall.

I agree with this. Today I heard conversations where people were talking about spiritual/enlightening things, just to have the others say "Yeah right, just like the Mayan Calendar thing".

People everywhere just got a great reason to justify their ignorance!  :-(

It's a sad day for Enlightenment.

On the flip side, everyone is doing the best they can do with what they have available to them.
People will come about their spiritual side when it's right for them to do so... until that point, it will always be regarded by them as "just like that Mayan calendar thing".  :)

Some people might make a breakthrough in this life time... some might take a few more to do it.  But they will eventually.

Very true Xanth. But, it just made it a lot harder to break that barrier!

Edit: Funny story at my Mall Chrismas Kiosk today. A woman comes up and says "What's with all the Dragons, what do they represent, why do you have them here"? I turned and looked at her and said "So you may ask that question". This puzzled her even more, so I said "If even for a second you thought that they might have been real and roaming the Earth at some point in History, then I have achieved my goal"
She then turned around and walked away even more puzzled. I have a feeling she will be back again someday asking what i meant by that, lol.

Btw, we are not 'entirely through' it yet with the doomsdayers. Some fear mongers also predicted from the start it would actually happen on Dec 23rd (with a 2-3 day sun blackout period following, from 23-25 Dec.). Happy X-mas everyone.  :|

I dunno really... hehe
For those ready to break the barrier, I don't think there's a barrier in place that can stop them.  :)
