2012: How we can prepare?

I've read a lot of speculation regarding 2012.  Once I came to the understanding that the Annunaki once ruled over the Mayans, and that Nibiru is supposedly suppose to enter our system in the near future I'm really starting to wonder how I can prepare for such a thing.  As I've heard many times before, the answers lie within ourselves.  Should we take the next few years to dive deep within ourselves and make this as our priority in preparation for disaster?

Two questions I ask myself is, if the Annunaki are an advanced species, how spiritual are they?  Is most of the destruction going to happen from Nibiru passing so close to us, or the behavior of the Annunaki when they return to earth?  I would like to hear all of your opinions, especially Tayesin.

Thanks

Stookie

I'm the type who believes you should live every day as though an alien planet is going to invade our solar system tomorrow.

But no matter what anyone tells you regarding the situation, if you can't confirm it for yourself yet want to believe it, all you can do is create a belief system about it and conform your life to that belief system. Are they going to be good? Are they evil? Will I have to wear tinfoil on my head? You know the types I'm talking about.

Or you can listen to your inner-self (or higher-self, or God, etc.) and strive to live your life as it was meant to be lived. Intuition can be a powerful tool for those of us without clairvoyance. Right NOW is where the future is.

I just finished reading "2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl", and it seems like there are a lot of people out there that are convinced of a definite and immediate "consciousness shift", but most of these theories seem based on psychedelic hallucinations, south american religions, and graphs made from the I-Ching.

In other words, I stay open minded. If it happens, I guess I won't be too surprised. If it doesn't, I guess I won't be too surprised. I had a great day yesterday, and today isn't too bad either.

I mostly agree with Stookie, except I'm probably a little more optimistic that major changes on a planetary scale are right around the corner.

All the answers will come naturally in time, and nature itself would be an excellent place to find yourself, mentally and spiritually if not physically.  In nature, with the right knowledge, you no longer have to depend on other people, you merely have to avoid them until things settle back down.  Surrounded by nothing but weeds and trees, you still have plenty of nutrition to survive indefinitely (pine needles have 5 times the vitamin C per gram that oranges do, for example, and pine needles are available all year long), but most people are ignorant of it and would starve to death anyway.  Some basic knowledge of edible plants and etc. in your area is probably needed, and knowing the basics of nutrition (carbs, fats, proteins, vitamins, where to get them) couldn't hurt.  You could also raise your own shelters, enough to keep you warm and dry at any given moment you may need it.  Even burying yourself in a pile of dirt is preferable than freezing to death, and in that particular situation, you know exactly what you would sooner do.

If you can become a survivalist in the sense that you know you can always provide yourself at least those two basic things (food and shelter), which nature itself readily provides to anyone aware of it, then you have nothing to fear anyway.  Everything else should be considered luxury in such hard times as we're considering.  Aim for mountains over low-lands or plains, and you will never have to consider flooding.  Also try to stay away from roads or where anyone would be intentionally wandering, looking to loot or steal, and you will never have to deal with violent confrontations.  This applies to any catastrophic disasters that bring down the fragile system we live in.

For starters I think it's a bit premature to be saying the Annunaki ruled over the Mayans and that Niburu is re-entering our solar system. I know ancient civilisations put a lot of wealth into the practice of astronomy. In much of the talk about signs of the zodiac, I haven't seen a mention of another planet so consistently in all the theories to be inclined to believe that one even exists.

I'm not sure if I'm right but I get the feeling you've used the word 'spiritual' with a positive connotation? Meaning you can't understand why a race spritually advanced could have negative intentions.

I think it's difficult, if not impossible, to quantify how 'spiritual' a given entity is. It's also my oppinion that spirituality does not relate to our dualism of good and evil. Some people use spiritual practices for self development, healing and guidance while others use it in the occult, black magic etc.

As for preparing for 2012 well I've read a few books on 2012 as well as 'Radical Evolution' and 'Global Brain: Evolution of Mass Mind from the Big Bang to the 21st Century'. It seems pretty clear that Terence Mckenna's statement about how more change occurs everyday now than what did 10 years ago, is true. It also seems clear that the ideas realeased into the the collective consciousness from the collective unconcious (an idea of Carl Jung, contemporary of Sigmund Freud) happens at an exponential rate (accelerating). Today with epidemic disease, global warming, terrorism, overpopulation, the depletion of species, habitat destruction etc, our generation is facing some of the most serious threats to the human enterprise that we have ever seen.

Some of the ideas coming forward are how consciousness plays an integral role in reality. The uncertainty principle, the observer, "What the bleep do we know" etc.

2012 isn't going to be simply an allignment of the central star of the galaxy with our solar system, it isn't going to be solely the intervention of some alien civilisation and it isn't going to be some mass psychedelic trip. I don't really see 2012 as a separate event to which we are just witnesses. We are going to be participants, co-creators in the event or nothing is going to happen at all.

If you want my oppinion on how to prepare for 2012 the advice I'd say is simply this; 'Live your life to the fullest and strive to make the world a better place.'

Hi Jebbas,

I'm going with Stookie on this one. Today, now, is what we have and nothing more. So best to get living now, it is the most effective preparation for anything.

But, I do have some thoughts about your questions.

QuoteTwo questions I ask myself is, if the Annunaki are an advanced species, how spiritual are they?  Is most of the destruction going to happen from Nibiru passing so close to us, or the behavior of the Annunaki when they return to earth?

I don't think they are spiritually minded at all, if they are it is never shown in the Sumerian Tablets, where they seem more inclined toward material enjoyment at every opportunity than anything else. And it never comes up that they spend a split-second contemplating there own genesis, higher awareness and didn't seem to have a religion or other belief-system used to guide their actions.

According to figures supplied by my mentor who deciphered these tablets, Nibiru has a fair range of movement in it's orbit, just like all planetary bodies in orbit: as an example, earth fluctuates up to 6 degrees in it's orbit which can account for the onset of long term Ice-Ages also. This time through the solar system (if it is a reality) it should come through the Asteroid belt into the area of the inner planets, which could and should dislodge quite a few asteroids that would be pushed/towed along with it. It's supposed sheer size would have effects well before it reaches the outer edge of our solar system, and those should build-up to some big stuff by the time it actually gets here. Perhaps the unusual Sun activities and other interesting observations within our solar system of late can be attributed to it's approach, or to the fact that we are fast approaching the Galactic Central Plane where major events occur roughly every 30 million years

Apparently, the worst destructions are when the earth and Nibiru pass on the same side of the sun, while lesser effects are recorded for when we are opposed with the sun between us. So in the end we have to take a wait and see approach

The Anunnaki weren't the Gods of old from Mayan culture, unless they were/are the ones now being called Reptilians. Which a friend of mine sees as a great possibility, although I withhold making a judgment about that.
