"This is the voice of Vrillon, a representative of the Ashtar Galactic Command, speaking to you. For many years you have seen us as lights in the skies. We speak to you now in peace and wisdom as we have done to your brothers and sisters all over this, your planet Earth. We come to warn you of the destiny of your race and your world so that you may communicate to your fellow beings the course you must take to avoid the disasters which threaten your world, and the beings on our worlds around you. This is in order that you may share in the great awakening, as the planet passes into the New Age of Aquarius. The New Age can be a time of great peace and evolution for your race, but only if your rulers are made aware of the evil forces that can overshadow their judgments. Be still now and listen, for your chance may not come again. For many years your scientists, government and generals have not heeded our warnings; they have continued to experiment with the evil forces of what you call nuclear energy. Atomic bombs can destroy the Earth, and the beings of your sister worlds, in a moment. The wastes from atomic power systems will poison your planet for many thousands of your years to come. We, who have followed the path of evolution for far longer than you, have long since realized this - that atomic energy is always directed against life. It has no peaceful application. Its use, and research into its use, must be ceased at once, or you all risk destruction. All weapons of evil must be removed. The time of conflict is now past. The race of which you are a part may proceed to the highest planes of evolution if you show yourselves worthy to do this. You have but a short time to learn to live together in peace and goodwill. Small groups all over the planet are learning this, and exist to pass on the light of the dawning New Age to you all. You are free to accept or reject their teachings, but only those who learn to live in peace will pass to the higher realms of spiritual evolution.  I like the message and have tried to live my life following this path. But unfortunately the powers that be didn't listen. So now it's up to us top create this, by being the best we can be and hoping it's contagious.

Am I out of line suggesting that it was a hoax? There were a lot of pirate broadcasts going around in the late 70's and early 80's. A good example being Sevy Verna... he would drive around Philadelphia with a giant antenna on his car broadcasting his message directly to peoples' TVs about dead people being resurrected on Jupiter as expressed in the movie 2001. It's a pretty cool story of one way in which conspiracies are created and become widespread. If you want to know more, google "Toynbee Tiles". While I don't believe the message, I love the medium.

I have read other messages like this. I am interested in the whole ascention thing especially because all these messages are saying pretty much the same thing yet they are being channeled through differant humans over the world (usually humans who claim to have already ascended to 5th dimensional beings)

But this can just as easily indicate they are all getting their material from the same place, or from imitating one another.

http://ashtargalacticcommanders.ning.com is a forum where some good and possibly confused people are very interested in the future of the Human species. Some are spirits like myself who have come to Earth and merged with a Human body for the purpose of affecting Earth on a large scale toward a better future for everyone. Its not a cult, just another religion which each have their own bizarre things they think are true. I tried writing on their forum but found too much faith is involved and I didn't fit in there. I don't know if what they say is true, and I would have much difficulty verifying it as true or false.

I simply don't see it as being information attained from outside oneself.

With that said, the "Galactic Command" phenomenon has been around a very long time.  A couple years ago there was supposed to be some kind of revealing of it... I think it was like October 2009 or something like that.  Someone channeled the information that said on a very specific day they would reveal themselves to humanity... well, it didn't happen (quel surprise lol) and the person issued a public apology and came up with some crap that something happened and it was delayed.  >_<

Nobody is magically going to come along and save humanity... the point is that we have to do it ourselves, by each person individually helping themselves to grow and learn to love each other.

Xanth, I am also very skeptical of anything channeled, but can you say for sure if they don't contradict themself or anything known to science?

I agree we have to solve the problems on Earth instead of waiting for someone else to come and do it for us. I work toward that in my free open source software research at http://sourceforge.net/users/benrayfield toward networking our minds together through the Internet at the subconscious level and by thinking about how the world works for a very long time and writing things to explain it to people.

After the lady who channeled it and then apologized left, her followers continued the 'movement' by saying that it was delayed, long after she bowed out.  I remember when she actually said 'let it go', and apparently, they didn't.  Or couldn't.
