The Age of Light and Life, Is the Kardashev Scale Missing an Ingredient?

I've heard this phrase recently here, and have heard it from many other sources... "The age of light and life"
a "Golden Age" and its been kind of fun thinking of that from the lens of a futurist. www.futuretimeline.net

I've always liked the Kardashev scale, which is defined as:

"The Kardashev scale is a method of measuring a civilization's level of technological advancement based on the amount of energy it is capable of harnessing and using. It was proposed by Soviet astronomer Nikolai Kardashev in 1964 to help guide the search for extraterrestrial intelligence and to classify civilizations by their energy consumption capabilities."

But something the Kardashev scale doesn't account for, is whether or not a world that reaches such advancements will be unified as a species- whether in religion or language. So. I wonder what members here think?

I think it goes hand and hand... I also consider our own evolution as a species. I've said it before but we used to celebrate public torture. Now, for most of us, such a thought is considered detestable. What changed? I'd like to think, as we evolved, so did our spiritual understanding.

So... The different civilizations as defined by the Kardashev scale:

Type 0: Not yet able to harness all planetary energy; relies on fossil fuels, wind, solar, etc. Humanity is currently here.

Type I: Mastery of all planetary energy sources, including full control over weather and natural disasters.

Type II: Able to harness the energy of its entire star, likely through megastructures like a Dyson Sphere.

Type III: Can utilize all energy within its galaxy, controlling billions of stars.

Type IV (extension): Harnesses energy at the scale of the entire universe.

Type V (extension): Accesses and utilizes energy from multiple universes, if such exist

If I think of ET's who are able to harness energy at type 4, being masters of their entire universe... Would such a species share one language? Would they share a similar understanding of God? Perhaps their language at that point is more telepathic.

The missing ingredient from the Kardashev scale(to me) is the acknowledgment of a Spiritual Evolution alongside the material. In fact, I believe physical reality as we understand it is but a shadow- Spiritual reality being REALITY.

I don't know if it's possible to be such a powerful civilization without first having come together for some common good. We may think ourselves advanced, but compared to the advanced civilizations proposed in the scale above- we are still in the dark ages... Not even a type 1 as of 2025.

I don't think you can achieve such heights without some uniformity and surrendering of will to a Greater Power. My thoughts are, the continuation of self interest can only get you so far. I see a choice between serving self or serving other than. And I see the potentials of self service like a point of light spreading into many rays- and no matter how many possibilities, I think- ultimately, it leads to spiritual depravity and annihilation.

We can not achieve the higher ages thinking only of ourselves and our own interest. I think, it is a gradual thing too. Just like how most of us now find public torture detestable, there may come a time where we have greater understanding collectively that comes from being considerate of other than self.

Well. Is anyone here familiar with this scale? What do you think? Do you think advanced worlds means having one government, one language, one race? Or is it possible to be so advanced and still have so much variety? The thought of having only one language is actually quite disheartening. But I look at where we are today, again... Thanks to the internet, so many people speak English. Not that english is the only language. But there is a common theme here... We have leagues of nations interested in the welfare of humanity, but we still have state and local representatives. We have various colors to our skin, with rich traditions- but ultimately we are one race- the human race of Earth.

As you implied, The "Kardashev scale" is not just missing a scale, it seems to be is missing the entire point. True advancement is, as you say, about Spiritual evolution, and not about technological advancement. Also, all Energy is Universal Energy, and cannot be differentiated in the way suggested in that scale. The physical universe oriented levels as characterised by the Kardashev scale, do not exist except as a simulation. And neither do "multiple universes".

The term "Golden Age"  has become somewhat of a generic and misused phrase. The "ages" of humanity are Spiritual cycles where there is an overall increase in vibration, resulting in shift away from the control of the ego, in the direction of Unconditional Love, towards compassion, empathy, Spirituality, service to others before self, which together brings a world of Peace and Harmony. Although all cycles are concurrent, and not sequential, taking place in the Now, these are experienced as very long cycles relative to Earth "time". Humanity has already, in this cycle, crossed the turning point, away from the ego, back towards Unconditional Love, although it may not currently seem that way. There will be no "rapture" or similar such event which many are apparently expecting. The level of Spirituality among people is most definitely increasing exponentially, with more and more people seeking the Truth, and embarking on the Path of Source realisation.

Another perspective of the transition of the ages, is a shift away from the masculine energy of the ego, towards the feminine energy of Love. Masculine cycles, as now, and which we are leaving, are controlled by the male ego, characterised by control, aggression, greed controlled through fear, destructive etc. and where God is referred to as a "Him". Feminine cycles are the opposite, characterised by Loving, nurturing, compassion, peace, harmony, and abundance, and are which are creative. In these cycles God is characterised as a "Her". This is were humanity is heading now. God is gender neutral, but if God had a gender it would definitely be Feminine. In the most ancient Spiritual tradition, the Hindu, God is referred to as the "Divine Mother".  The "Lover" of the Sufi's is masculine, who seeks only to finally unite with the Beloved, the Divine Feminine, which is a metaphor for the Spiritual path, and its ultimate realisation. Many traditions recognise both God and Goddess, with the latter given priority.

I have the same observation. Masses of people are actively searching and finding themselves, who they are and realizing their own power. I came across "accidentally" on youtube videos of people walking the Camino De Santiago, which is 500 miles walk through France and Spain to reach Santiago De Compostela cathedral. And although the walk is related to a traditional religious reasons, the people on all the videos I watched who shared the reasons they decided to walk, actually had realizations about themselves very much outside of the traditional church teachings. They found that there were many things they had to unlearn, they realized that God is not something out there judging sinners. They realized their own power spending 2 months walking in nature without distractions, just with their thoughts, many walking by themselves for large stretches of time. The way everyone spoke was very much spiritually oriented rather than what you typically hear church goers speak. Instead of waiting God to answer their prayers and give them strength, people realized THEY Have the strength, THEY have power because THEY ARE divine and so is everything. God is them. I was so proud of humanity watching these videos. What you focus on is what version of reality you are in. 

Going back to the point of this topic in my view if everyone exists in the same wavelength and strive for the greater good, treating everyone the way they wish to be treated, there there will be no need of government. And being on the same wavelength means telepathy will come easy. In such society, pain will be something very rare and so is polarity. What happens automatically then is that this type of civilization would seek developing civilizations to help them. Sounds familiar? ET civilizations who have reached that point of development have been here on Earth and many other planets in need for billions of years to guide. I hope humans some day get to become guides for other civilizations out there in the cosmos.

Whoever wrote that article has probably been watching too many Marvel movies. "Time" does not exist so the "future" does not exist and neither do "timelines" exist. All that "happens" or will ever "happen", is "happening" right Now.

What we can say is that in the Now, technology is evolving exponentially, sometimes in positive ways, sometimes in not so positive ways. Assuming humanity does not destroy itself, again, before then, 2300 will be much different than today but no one can possibly predict in what way.

The more important question is will humanity have learned the Spiritual lessons, and progressed to living beyond the ego to Unconditional Love, to use technology, and everything else, for the mutual benefit of All.
