The shift in consciousness could happen as soon as October 28 2011

Isn't that the "new" date for the supposed Rapture that was supposed to happen back in April?

If any "shift in consciousness" is going to happen... it'll be personal and unique to each individual.  It won't be some massive planetary-wide thing.  Not everyone is playing at the same point along the consciousness line.  It would be rude to "push" other people forward into a run before they've even learned how to crawl.

As you progress and grow spiritually more aware, you quickly learn to ignore issues like that and become more focused within, which then forms your reality accordingly.

Yeah, could be, or not, or just in part. Honestly, I don't know whom to 'believe' anymore in this world. Maybe it is best to not 'believe' anybody and anything at all.

 Believe in yourself, that's the only one you have to really convince anything of! There is alot of strange things occurring in the world right now, but we can't stop it, so I don't think we should fret it. What happens, happens, we will just go along for the ride. If you knew the world was going to end in a week, what would you do? Would you go to work, would you stay at home and cower,riot, etc., there's a reason we are not supposed to know the truth. Just like Jack Nicholson said in the movie A few good men "The truth, you can't handle the Truth", at least a number of people wouldn't be able to. I used to believe that the "collective conscious" could change this. But there's not enough people on-board right now to make that happen.

Plus the US economy is a its lowest in recent history, decade long regimes are falling, earthquakes in unusual places.  Fifth night of the ninth wave, too many similarities.

The awakening is pretty much knowing that you are not your thoughts and that your mind makes everything you belive Is true/real. Which is a good thing cause everyone is stuck in there minds thinking they are there minds and belive everything it says.

 When you are ready you will awaken. Plain and simple, you can not rush it and it's not for everyone right now. You have to allow it to happen and give yourself 100% to it. Once you start to experience it, it will change your entire of essence of who you are.
