I just got the Wave I - Discovery set. I settled down yesterday evening and decided to give "Orientation" a go. I followed all the instructions and found myself very relaxed and in a light trance. I kept my focus on the music after the instructions stopped so my mind wouldn't wander. In what I would guess to be the last five minutes or so I suddenly realized that I was looking at my feet covered by a blanket. Odd thing is I could feel my eyelids still shut and I knew that the blanket was really on the floor at the foot of the bed. Everything else was how it actually was in the room as far as I recall.

Later that night I was pretty tired but decided to listen to "Introduction to Focus 10." I went through the procedures and found myself in a slightly deeper trance than before. The amount of time between Bob's   (I think that's his name) seemed very, very long though. The hypnogogic images were awesome. I've never seen them so vividly and they were so organized looking. Almost like a spider web that was constantly moving and changing shape but the left was like a mirror image of the right. After the hypnogogics faded I found myself in the 3d blackness as I've heard it described on these boards. I think I "clicked out" for a bit at this point. When I came back around I saw my room again but my dog was standing over me. She wasn't really in the room and there was a flag missing from the wall. It startled me to suddenly see her over me and I snapped back to fully waking consciousness.

Could I have been on the verge of projection or do you think something else was going on? Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

Oh, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Awesome - It took me a while to really experience much from it, but taken seriously it can be pretty helpful in learning new states of awareness.
