Title: 3D Painting
Post by: Kyo Kusanagi on July 27, 2005, 08:46:30
Imagine an artistic painting, in which you could zoom in, or zoom out, 3 dimensionally. Flash makes this possible :

Click on the image above to visit the webpage, then once the flash loads up, first click on the "click here to start" message (bottom of white popup), then place your mouse cursor at the center of the flash window, click (and hold down) your mouse button, and scroll down (to zoom out) or scroll up (to zoom in).

Very cool.  Thanks for sharing!

Do they provide the code that allows you to program this?  I'm in the midst of learning Flash, and something like this would be awesome to create!

thanks, joya

Hi,

QuoteDo they provide the code that allows you to program this? I'm in the midst of learning Flash, and something like this would be awesome to create!

What you could do, is to e-mail the webmaster of ebaum's world (the host website), and see if he can give you the contact details of the group that did that particular Flash.

Alternatively, you can visit Flash programming websites and forums, and post a link to this "3D Painting" Flash, and ask around how this could be done.

Wow-cool stuff! The trippy mirror thing is really hypnotic.Stare at the centre of it, and it looks like a tunnel.

I wonder what would happen if you stared at it for 5 hours straight?
