has anyone got any information, book suggestions, website links etc on the 7 cosmic planes like the astral, mental buddhic etc?
the idea of these higher realities and being able to explore them through astral travel absolutely fascinates me.
You will find many interpretations on the various planes of reality according to the tradition, culture, order etc.. One of the most interesting ones is the "tree of life" of the Kabbalah. Many follow the principle of various Astral, Mental, Celestial and Cosmic planes. The so called "buddhic", "atmic" and so on are somewhat arbitary, and describe the level at which Buddhists and Hindus respectively meditate. The entire concept of planes is somewhat symbolic in that the Universe is actually a continuum and there are no real borders at all.
As far a exploration goes, only the Astral planes, the lowest planes in the Universe are accessible by Astral Projection. The higher levels or planes are only accessible by Mental projection, the Astral body being too dense to travel further than the Astral, and only then to the extent of the corresponding level of vibrations of your Astral body. In the Kabbalah, the Astral planes are called "Malkuth".
With best regards,
Adrian.
thanks for that,
now im interested in mental projection, do you have any more info on that (especially tecniques to do it)
is that waht robert spoke about in Astral dynamics? the "higher level projection" chapter, something about focusing on a violet colored light within your 3rd eye?
were the rainbow level, mystical level and "summerland" in astral dynamics all describing different realms in just the astral planes, or different planes altogeter?
