The site is a hoax. First of all, there's no way he could "zoom in" on the ship to make out the words "Ark II"
Secondly, on Nov. 7th, the author himself even stated its a joke:
Dear readers,
This site was originally posted as a piece of writing with purposeful clues and discrepancies to indicate it's fictitious nature leading up to a pre publicity campaign to see how much interest it might generate. Quite honestly the overwhelming response and attention was not expected, or at least not so quickly. That was why the site was posted several months ahead with the intention of it slowly gathering momentum, leading up to the actual revealing date.
Most people have sent emails indicating that they enjoyed the site and looked forward to finding out about the potential release of a variety of things such as a new movie, computer game, SLR camera, novel, camera film and the list goes on.
There are some that have taken this site too seriously, and it has been brought to my attention that innocent people have been implicated as the creators of this site. I therefore feel it is appropriate to make this announcement. As many have pointed out, if the story was for real it would have been shut down by now.
If you still wish to follow this event, please enjoy it as a fictitious story leading up to what will be revealed on the above mentioned date. If there is enough interest, the original story may be re-posted as an optional link on this page within the next few weeks.

The purpose behind this site was to create intrigue, fascination and interest leading up to what this event is about. It has certainly achieved that objective. Once again, apologies to anyone who took it too seriously.
Now that the nature of this campaign has been revealed, please enjoy the adventure leading up to March 8 2003
What I think is going to happen is he is gonna use this "story" to write a book or movie, and had fun with it by hyping it up on this website.
Any comments on it would still be welcome tho [:D]

ok, here's my analysis, if you care.
the first pic: why didn't he talk about the paw mark near the middle of the picture? [sarcastically] IT certainly looks weird.
the second pic: the "big ship": a burn mark. the film WAS burnt.
third pic: whoopdie.
fourth pic: who cares what it's called. humans have called their vessels, sea and air, by biblical names for centuries. humans also name their vessels after other religious and occult stuff too, so what?
fifth pic: there is NO possible way that a person who looks at the trail of smoke could POSSITIVELY claim that the aircraft where the picture was taken from was the target of a missle strike. it looks MORE like a "missle" was shot off, veered far from the airplane, and exploded (hence the bright light where the trails of smoke lead to) away from the airplane. or perhaps, the helicoptor has some sort of jet engine on it that is leaving the cloud of smoke behind it as it moves away from the airplane. after all, it's really hard to tell which direction the choper is moving in.
sounds like a hairbraned conspiracy theorist is "gettin' jiggy with it".
and the pic on mountain sub: looks more like a tank that is making its way along a railroad than some submarine. after all, submarines are supposed to be long, round and sleek, not cubular and bulky like that thing appears to be.
also, it could be that the same author did both sites just for a laugh, or to provide some credit to one of the sites by having "someone else" try to discredit them. but i doubt it. funny how the mind works, eh?

I don't know how many of you have been following this site, if any. A guy hiking in Australia found an old camera wedged in some rocks. He took the camera home, developed the pictures, and said he was astonished by what he saw. He said he would post the pictures on march 8, 2003... well... today is the day...
