Greetings earthlings  8-)

Its good to feel alive! Trouble is much of the time we are in default mode of missing the bliss of our own true nature through the distraction of endless thinking and stress. Most peoples bodies are under a great deal of stress nearly all of the time as a result of its own physiological response to all our endless dysfunctional thoughts and emotional responses.

So whats the gift?  :-)

Next time you wake in the night for a drink maybe or early or better still in the morning. Go back to bed and just lay there, close your eyes and watch your body go back to sleep. Notice how calm your mind is, notice how still you have become and just watch.
When you have felt the amazing softness of your own energy as your body falls asleep, gently roll your eyes back and allow you self to nearly fall asleep, you will at that point notice there is a moment where it feels like you have nearly stopped breathing as you go to the next level of body sleep. Be calm and notice that the body natural breaths a a little deeper again once its passed that phase.

Im not going to tell you more because you will find out for your self, but you can lay in that blissful state for as long as you feel. Forget about AP for the time being, just get used to watching your body fall asleep and you can master it with practice.

The wonderful thing is once you know how it feels you can carry a measure of that relaxation and stillness in your body/being all day. It can change you life, as that stillness imbues all that you encounter or do with a sense of calm, where your power is found.

Yes you can do this through meditation, but at the end of a good sleep you will be almost in default mode to reach this state without trying too hard. Your body already knows how to do it. Let it show you.

From there you can more easily AP as well when you have mastered it.

Blessings and sweet waking dreams. M  :-)

Beautiful post and great advice. Thank you for this.

I'm a newbie and still haven't consciously projected, but I know what you're saying. In my meditation sessions and as I go to sleep, I relax my body completely, and as a result of that practice, I can achieve a state of near total relaxation just by thinking it. It feels great, and I wish to try and make that my default physical state when I'm just sitting at work or wherever. Usually our bodies are very tense. I'm sure that alone is very draining on us.

When you relax completely... when you get to that stage where you don't realise your body anymore... try imagining sitting up. Just a suggestion. This isn't my normal advice... but I have been experiencing this recently.

Absolutely that's awesome and exactly what it's all about. Also having an awareness of that relaxed body brings our minds into the present moment, which is the perfect place to be to feel alive and raise our consciousness :)

Yes Defo ! That's good advice !

I think I was trying to get people to not think about the ap until they had mastered the other..but I agree wth you that's Defo the next step and would find your self almost certanly in real time zone :) from there, do you agree ?

Just spent the last 30 mins of my lunch break meditating. I lost consciousness for maybe a couple minutes, snapped back, in the black void, couldn't feel my body, and instead of trying to get "out" or do anything, I just sat there and enjoyed it. It really is an amazing feeling. Unfortunately, my alarm went off soon after I achieved that state so I couldn't enjoy it for long.

Good for you!  :-)

So many people say they don't have time to meditate. i find that's just a "cop out".

It doesn't take long to do and does you a world of good!  :-)
