Title: A great fears...
Post by: cobalt on December 10, 2004, 09:02:55
What to do if i have a very great fears from something(you couldnt even imagine, id ont know a single person  who had the same fears)...
(I dont even remember, my mom told me so..)It began when i was a small child and i stepped on smaal animal and killed him,  actually it is absolutely defensless creature, but near hime there whas something sharp in grass, and i stepped on it too( i didnt even cut my leg, just a little pain), but now im already 18 and i still start to panic(my hearbeating increases, i star to think illogicaly, very strange feeling, not like other simple fears) even if i see a photo of this creature...
Could this fear affect my spiritual activities..
Is it possible to get over them trought lucid dreaming, or i could create my worst nightmare?
Any other ideas...
Btw, im only affraid of one type of this creatures(and some wich are similar in appearance)

It sounds like you internalized a lot of guilt, pain, and fear about something that wasn't your fault.  You need to know, truly believe, let go and forgive yourself.   I don't know specifically how this type of fear will effect your magical studies, spiritual activities, etc. but I do know that such a strong reactive emotion such as fear is stressful and unnessicary.

If it was me, I would perform some sort of symbolic ritual with the intent of forgiveness to myself and acceptance of the "Will" of the Universe.  I would do this, not because I would be suddenly "cured" from this fear, but becasue I would know that my intent to eventually let go of it would be grounded in the physical realm.  If you think you can do this type of work in lucid dreaming, then perhaps you can tackle it there.

I am not saying I am myself free of fear.  But I do know that there are steps we can do to try and realise it.

Good luck,
joya
