Well, your page isn't commercial, so I doubt you are interested in paying money for google/yahoo/msn page rankings.  In your case, I'd find a set of pages which are closely related to yours and set up a webring system, or join one if such a category already exists.  If you are really serious, get a lot more content on your main page, get more html keywords, and make sure other websites start linking to your webpage.  The more external links to your page, the more weight google will give your keywords in its page rankings.  If you you are very dedicated, maintain your web site every day by adding new content, keeping your members happy, and by being either very interesting or very informative.  There have been quite a few blogs that have had high traffic through this route (very few were able to translate high traffic into member support for bandwidth costs).

Just some random thoughts.

Signing guestbooks helps a lot. Not only do you cheer someone up by saying "hi", but you get to leave a link to your site (thus also boosting your Google ranking). :)

Attracting people is good but, keeping them is as much as important...  If a website is good, word of mouth should do the rest.

While information is more important than the look, start by correcting the spelling ("to" instead of "too" by example) and maybe try to keep a uniq look and feel across pages.

I think your website needs something more than links to games/forums/chats...

Good luck!  It takes quite some time to setup a successful website.

Anyone have some suggestions ? I don't want too spam people. I made my website because i had like, a moment you know ? intuition. i had some rough ideas and such, but i can't seem to get the ball rolling.

what are some good ways too advertise a website ?

I did not want too ask here, on a forum of a website with similar subject matter, so i apologise if i offend anyone. if this post is in the wrong i hope it gets deleted. i just don't know what too do.

i'm just following my heart. but i'm kinda stuck, like writers block i guess.
