It as a fantasy novel. But in it it describes the effects of velocity running, lentation, energy as electromagnetic fields,and the idea of cosmic conciousness.
I can only assume its coincidence but you ever seen "The Last Starfighter" where that kid gets the highscore on a game and is recruited by aliens to help fly stuff. Would it not be hilarious if this dude were to have gained ultra power and then written a book to leave behind his secrets in the form of hints in a story.
