Originally I am a rightie, but I decided at some point that I want to become ambidextrous.
So I have been practicing for some time (I do everything with my left hand that I used to do with my originally dominant right hand)
I started to notice some interesting effect on me:
I feel more balanced
I feel more emotionally detached - more concentrated
I feel like being more present in the moment
My anxiety became almost nonexistent
I feel more empowered
My thinking became clearer
I started to view things at different angle or different perspective
I'm focused more than ever on my goals in life
My bass playing suddenly improved drastically - I hear and FEEL music and the rhythm
I'm no more distracted or annoyed by the things I used to
I am much less susceptible to malignant and deteriorating stereotypes, cultural codes and hereditary patterns
I grasp new concepts and new information with ease
Everything began to make more sense
I recall my dreams more
I became more creative
I start to lose weight at increased rate
I'm more motivated at whatever I start doing
I literally feel my brain developing and and wiring itself up with more neurons as I practice my left side
Multitasking is easy now
And most importantly I don't have to switch fork and knife when I'm cutting my steak lol
Does anybody of you familiar with such developed ambidexterity effects?
Maybe some of you are ambidextrous, how's that working for you guys?
I have played keyboard often ever since I could reach the keys as a child. :-)
I definitely could put some correlation to the, relatively, large growth in the use of my left hand for melodies with the recent explosion with AP in my life that occurred about 2 years back.
Cheers,
Contenteo
