a dirty mud puddle cut off from the sea

anyone?

Even a mud puddle is primarily water. But if you focus on the mud it's all you'll see.
Come join the good side dude.  8-) There is enough room in the ocean for all of us.

uh ok and its dirty and murky and cut off from the fresh flow and slowly it begins to get sticky and dry up into a mud puddle until it eventually fizzles out all together

what's your point

i don't understand your attempt at analogy (i totally understand your analogy, i just disagree).

mud puddle or ocean, it's all a part of our continuous reality.  the properties of that mud puddle are attributed by your human mind.  the mud puddle and ocean are no different, they are both manifest from the same otherworld.

you could have just said we're stagnant and dirty.
be awesome.

a dirty mud puddle cut off from the sea, is like a clouded mind cut off from the true nature of things.
is it bad when your dreams are better than real life!

True nature of things? Sounds rather absolute.....

I like the basis of this analogy, but I disagree with the mud and dirt being a simile of a clouded mind.

Perhaps a rock pool,
A remnant of the tide retreated,
A landscape and a life of its own,
Awaiting the time it will again be united with its whole.
