Here is a central spot for musicians to post links to original music they have created. Please don't post links to any cover songs or remixes of other people's stuff unless the original artist has given permission to do so (just want to keep this site of trouble). :)
I will go first:

My Music - Tell It Like It Is

Also here is some extremely expiremental music I made years back when I was about 16. Warning: This music is just a bit weird but it somehow really works.

ps. bishop I really liked the song "Not too far away"
thanks Mez
My friend with the acoustic wrote that one, but I like it very much.
Here's some leftover hip-hop beats I never used for anything. I created a myspace just for these poor, unused gems. Vinyl sampling.

Fillet O' Soul... I like that.

please check me out! ive only got a few jams up so far cos im programming all my drums at the moment for my proper songs... when thats done im gonna write a trance album :)
Kodemaster - I really like "Swing Shift". It's got a great beat to it, a little slower and hip-hoppie.
Bishop - Great tunes. Your voice works well with the guitar. "Break Me" is awesome. Your a great geetarist.
Mez - Your music is really good. Great production. Are you the only one or are there other members? I didn't know if it was live or edited.
Rodentmouse7 - That's some awesome stuff. Very trippy. "Electric Tango" kind of reminds me of Joe Satriani's "Engines of Creation" album. I have a friend who makes that same kind of psychedelic music.
I don't ever record for myself anymore, only for musicians and bands, but we've made this video early this year, hope you all enjoy it

I make all kinds of electronic music. Most of my stuff is chillout of some sort, but I also make jungle etc. Nearly all of my tracks have some kind of a psychedelic touch on them. :-D

So what are people using for software? I'm using Reason. I plan to upgrade to 4.0 once I upgrade to OS 10.5.

I'm using FL Studio and I must say it is the best music production software I ever had (and trust me I've tried quite a few of them). I think it could be a bit hard for the beginners but once you get a "feel" of it, it's really good (as they say the quickest path from brain to music) :-D
I use FL Studio too. With practice, it's super quick to lay down some tracks. And if FL for some reason can't do it, it's not hard to find a plug-in that can.
I updated my page with a couple new songs too: http://www.myspace.com/stookiepookertine
my music is loud and screamy. im the drummer
www.myspace.com/yessirmistermachine
I have never used FL studio, but I have used FL which is pattern-based. I have to say that I like Reason the most out of any software I have seen. It's hard to use at first because it behaves like a real studio. For example, if you want your synth to make noise, you have to route it through the mixer, and choose a sound patch. It is great how you can route different devices through each other. It makes for some crazy analog drumming capabilities.
I have a new ambient project, hopefully someone is interested!

FL Studio here aswell.

Thanks for listening! Big thanks for any comments! :D

AmbientSound, your ambient stuff is lovely!
Lucid Dream has a very nice feeling to it, but I feel it goes on with the same stuff without changing for too long. Still, very nice!
I'm very rarely a fan of a piano sound used in music, when the piano doesn't feel natural. And sadly, Among The Stars is no exception. Other than that, it's quite nice but the feeling doesn't click with my feeling-center. :D
Same thing with Forever Free, really. Nothing actually wrong with it, but I just can't get much out of it.
A Groove is a Groove reminds me partly of the Unreal Tournament soundtrack. (and I'm sorry, I usually hate it when people compare my music to video game stuff :-D ) Pretty nice this one. A bit cheesy on the beat and sound apartment, but still, somehow it pulls it off without being too cheesy. I feel the emotion in this one!
I've added more music to the MySpace page:
http://www.myspace.com/jenxmusic
"Pitch Correction is For the Birds"
"Ultima (Mad Clown Carnival Mix)"
"Into the On-Hold Abyss"
I also have a ReverbNation account, with more stuff on it:

Enjoy!

And here comes another trance release! :-D This time it's melodic trance mixed with hard trance/dance elements.

Sweet stuff, Speak!
I've been challenged to write a song about asparagus. There's a song about peaches, but who writes a song about asparagus?! I have no idea what it's going to sound like...
Music is all about quantum physics. And fun. And more quantum physics... And consequently, more fun.
This may be a little bit off the subject but in some way relates. The Myspace band The Silk Dreamcatchers talks about their newest album, a concept album which is a long story about heart break, spiritual enlightenment, journeys across the earth, and ancient supercities in the year 2012 in their blogs. The album is coming out soon. Read the blogs and check it out:

Sorry to bring up an old topic. Myspace has been frustrating me lately. I have switched over to www.soundclick.com/synthninja from now on, as it results in less errors and hassles.
I have written some new stuff. My latest piece, Onward, will be two versions: the short version and the long version. The long version will take up an entire CD.

I fixed the link. I guess soundcloud is correct.

Hey SpeaK,
Loving some of your DnB mate, I LOVE me Jungle hands down favourite genre to mix.
Digging the guitar tune just after the drop at 3:23 on "Revelation Of Self", Very catchy! Very chopped up jungle pretty funky, Just an idea - Would of been REALLY cool if you kept that initial guitar tune going and ramped it up louder an clearer and dropped a hard hitting beat for a few bars :) That would really get people up and moving, Its one of those tunes that get stuck in your head ;)
Either way loving it. Keep up the good work, Keep DnB alive !
Respect from Australia.
Keep in mind this thread was revived, and that the person you responded to was last active 5 years ago, haha.
But it is a good thread nonetheless
