Not to bust your bubble or anything, but are you sure that's an orb? It kinda looks like a speck of dust on the lens to me. If you look closely you can see the reflection between the two sides of the lens.

I wish my house was haunted. Spirits seem to be afraid of me for some reason. I slept in a haunted room in England for three weeks and didn't see a thing.

I really don't like the haunted word, it sounds so ucky..hehe. I'm guilty of using myself, but I'm going to call it inhabited.

I lived in a house that was over a hundred years old, that was inhabited by a "ghost"...we named her Mary Catherine, due to a letter we found after pulling up a bathroom floor.  Well, I think there was more than one, but that was the only we named..[^] we humans just love to name things..lol

Many things happened before the letter was found.  My brother saw her once on the stairway landing (it was one of those that you walked up three steps then you're on a landing with a window, then take a right and continue to the upstairs) she was fixing her hat while looking at the window as if she was looking in a mirror.  Freaked him out and he spent thirty minutes hiding in the bathtub..eh, don't ask, have no idea why he went there..[] If I remember correctly he said that he just backed up and kept backing up while keeping a eye on her, whom now was staring back at him, until he stumbled back into the bathroom and fell into the tub..

It seemed she was looking for something, because more than a dozen times I would wake up to my dresser drawers being stacked on my bedroom floor.  My dresser had doors on it (old house remember) so I started tying the doors shut with twine and that worked.[]

I was sitting on the couch once, reading the tv guide and looked up and there she stood, right in the doorway of my parents bedroom just looking at me..ok..freaked me out, I looked down real quick then looked up again and she was gone.  I can't even count how many times I saw a dark wispy figure moving in my peripheral vision, not to mention the footsteps and talking..very weird, but accepted. [^]

Then we..well, my Dad found the letter, placed it on the dining room table and it disappeared, and all was pretty much quiet after that. I found that weird because all the letter contained was a invitation to thanksgiving or something..been so long I've forgotten the details.  But it was dated in the late 1800's.  I was fasinated how they spoke back then, so graceful and polite...

What's been happening to make you think the house is haunted?  You said in your post there's been no paranormal activity so I'm a little confused

my brother is a big time photographer for the military...he took the photos at my cousin's wedding and there were orbs surrounding the couple in multiple photos. he's absolutely possitive that there was no was it was produced by the light/environment. He's the pro. at my wedding, I got a huge pinch on the arm and there was no one next to me, but everyone had seen my jump in pain, later, there was a huge bruise. They're heeEEEAArr. I have a baby pic of me with a very clear immage of a detailed feathered winged angel flying past me above and to the side. and another with a huge bright ring of light around my head, while none of the other photos taken at the same time in the same conditions of my brothers had a light of any kind. ooooowwweeeeoooo. light bulbs still burst when i walk under them. I have my doubts about pictures. One, pictures are so easy to manipulate. Two, there are many factors that can effect visual pictures. I have seen some pretty weird effects on pictures. On one part of a fan showed up on one of my sister's prom pictures. Are there ghosts of window fans out there? lol If this is the ONLY indication of paranormal activity, then I would not jump to conclusions. Be logical and reasonable about it. I once lived in a "haunted house", but I did not come to that conclusion until much later. I took my time and examined everything before coming to that conclusion.

My personal amature opinion is that this is dust or a glare. It looks to be consist with the angle of the light source.

If you do think your house is haunted you can try getting an audio recorder and seeing if you can get any kind of audio communication. It is rather simple to do. I have a friend that is exprienced with this. I will see if I can't get her to come here and post about it.

I'm with fallnangel. I can't actually d/l the picture, but pictures are not really good sources of evidence for this kind of thing anyway. Or for that matter pretty much anything.

And just for clarity (and you aren't the only person to say it) - correct me if i'm wrong, but if spirits were made up of electromagnetic energy that would mean we WOULD be able to see them. Electromagnet Energy (EME) is just a fancy word for light. It's what our eyes pick up to carry to the brain to be interpreted.
I see many people calling spirits EME, but according to my psychology class, that would mean we would be able to see them as plain as anything else.
I think it would make more sense to call them something like Ether. I don't actually know what they are, but i think ether would be more accurate.
Again, please correct me if i'm wrong.

the ghosts in my house turn on the sinks and radios, change the stations, turning lights on and off, moving thing around, turn on the tv, and keep pushing my touch light! its cool. ive been in the room and seen them do it

I respect all your coments people, i have this stuff on film as well. unfortunately i cant put it on the pulse cuz its like 20 minutes long. i have more photos though ill try and get them up later on. and i see your point on the faking pics part, its true about what you say though. people can fake photos. the ones i am soon to provide including the one you can download are all real. on the film these orbs fly around. unlike the ones in my crawl space, these actually fly around. and the photo i have provided is a moving orb, thats probably why you think its dust. anyways thankx for the comments.

I have never seen orbs. I have seen shadowy figures before. Usually out of the corner of my eye, but once I saw a full figure walk by. I no longer live in that house though. The spirit or whatever it was was starting to get annoying by the time I moved. It was getting to where it liked to bang doors or make other noises at night. I wish I still lived there so I could investigate more, but oh well. I have never experienced anything in my current place.

You have poltergeists.  This would be of great interest to a paranormal group and easy to detect, too.  It would be interesting to see if they stopped their activity while the paranormal group was there.  If they have a psychic with them, they could give you some personal information about them.

This website is full of a lot of people with neg infestations.  Many of them are not sincere, and they try to match a person's way of posting/speech pattern to get you to listen to them.  You sound as if you have experience with the paranormal--have you worked with a paranormal group?


I HAVE:  they are just as much scientists as anyone else claiming that name, like astronomers and zoologists; it's just a new science.


Orbs were found at my old house, and the psychic with them detected the presence of a very psychopathic entity.  She did have trouble picking out the truth from the lies, but she sensed its real nature.
A couple of other psychics with them sensed it, too.

well i dont live in a haunted house THANKFULLY i would either die of a heart attack or kill myself. yeah i watch this show once on evil spirit things and yeah it scared the crap out of me. i dont believe in ghosts more of spirits actually.

well ever since i have been working more with phychic stuff i have noticed strange things here is what have happened.:

i had a dream that i was taking picutes with firends and everypicture i was in alone it would apear next to me...not like a human next to me but you could see a blurry face
and i was the only one who noticed it

in the dream the face it i cant think of it because i dont want to but something was wrong the second i saw it i sat straight up in my bed i was in a state of shock i was very scared. it felt like it wasnt happy with me or sumpthin.

anyway ever since i started practicing TK more or thinking more about it and such i when alone at night or in the dark i feel like im being followed

at times it is scary at others its really cool
  once i was walking home i i could sence something and it was playing games when i turned around i knew it kept going behind me. i somehow felt it was the same one as in my dream, but it wasnt mad with me anymore. we had fun on the way home so i talked to it. asking who it was what they wanted. and so on so forth
 i could feel the tension breaking up
 i never got answers of course but i felt a form of comuication going on i figured it could hear me but i could hear it.
 then i got to a certain point on the way home and i felt very unsafe so i ran home i knew it was still behind me but then the presence was gone
  i still dont know what happened


then just last night i was down stairs and i knew something was there
 but i didnt feel safe so i ran upstairs ...

and just a few seconds ago i walked into my spare bedroom and i found the "spirit" and well so yeah hello then some other thing got real mad at me like i tresspast or sumthin...

anyway is there a difference between ghosts and spirits?

when i started to learn phychic stuff i wanted to sence people like as in peoples energy levels not other THINGS. yeah so anyway

Ok so you see my house is haunted, i just moved in it too. the thing is, there are more than i knew about and no paranormal activity has been goin on since i moved in. the guy who sold us the house never said a word about it either. i have some photos to back my story up as well.
