Hi Tenacious,
Great Nic and excellent quote too.  I learned that the pulling/pressure feeling at the point you described is indicating that there is a energy/presence near you.  It will serve you by telling you when something is near or others are trying to communicate with you.  How you then deal with it is up to you.  If you do not want it to be there, you could imagine a mirror around your head that reflects others thoughts and contact away fom you, then the sensation should ease.  If it doesn't, then it means the communcation or contact is strong/important, and possibly that at some level of your awareness you are doing somthing else while going about your daily business.  In which case you can empty your mind and open up to see/hear who or what it is.  Cool hay? Good luck.

Love Always.[:)]

It sounds like your third eye chakra is becoming active.
Alice had got so much into the way of expecting nothing but out-of-the-way things to happen, that it seemed quite dull and stupid for life to go on in the common way.

Tenacious

Thanks both for the replies!  I will check into chakras more.  I want to listen, but it is always at a bad time... IE driving.  Heh, I want to listen, but i don't want to die to talk to a spirit! hehehe  Take care!

Energy? pressure? sounds like my situation. For me this pressure in my head is probably some repressed anger/fear/frustration/hurt the list could go on.  But basically...emotion is energy.  Anger is energy.  When you get angry your body tightens up as if your going to fight or kill someone. It's also helpful to know that anger is the shadow of fear. So...basically...if you feel a strong emotion...and don't let it go...or express it in some way...it can get trapped in your body...as muscle tension. I mean...emotional energy isn't very dense.  What it does is make your muscle part more dense where it is trapped. Or you could say it makes it more tense/tight.  So this pressure your talking about might be from fear...or perhaps confusion...like in the physics class.  Only you can know. You could try asking yourself "whats going on inside me right now?" to see what emotion is there deep down.  But then again...too much self-evaluation can be harmful...so perhaps you shouldn't go down that road...i've been there....with the help of eckharts book...but thats another story....but...you could start praying...but if you do...let me give you a few principles for effective praying as praying has been the ancestor of much peace of mind.

1. unselfish--not alone for oneself.....       also...pray for values...not things

so...Godspeed

Very interesting view Arie.  However, I'm not exactly convinced that it is an emotional measure.  If I have a problem, I talk to someone I know.  I'm not the type of person not to state how I feel, or if something/one is bothering me.  Anger- It happens, but it goes quick.  And for physics, hehe, if I don't understand I strive to get the answer correct.  Usually if I get too stressed, I develop a headache.   The tension between my eyebrows has just recently (maybe 2 months) developed.  I don't believe that it is bad.  As for praying, as always, I don't pray for "things"  I pray for people, give thanks, and for good values.  As if this really matters, because it's really not something I wish to talk about.  (Sorry, I know that sounds rude, but my relationship with god is personal.  I hope you can understand this, if not, then sorry [:)])  Thanks again for the view, it really helps me evaluate my situation. Peace.

To me it matters...but i understand your contention.

"praying has been the ancestor of much peace of mind." that was from me previous reply. That is why i mentioned prayer because it has, is, and will help many people.

Your welcome. :)

Ok, so when I am awake, and fully alert, sometimes I will get a pressure on my forehead, right above my nose, in between my eyebrows.  I'm not exactly sure why, but I noticed that when I was in class today, thinking about how to solve those damned physics problems, It come about.  It was as if I knew how to do it, even though I'm so confused in that class.  That's not all though!  They happen at very odd times during the day.  I'll be driving and for no reason, I'll get it.  I'm not sure if it is a warning, a sign, or if someone is trying to help me...sometimes it's so intense that I actually reach up and touch it to make it stop. (which by the way doesn't work [:P])  Any ideas?
