AP in your life

How do you people can put AP in your life?

DO you come home and AP a little?

Do you AP just some nights per week?

How do you unite AP with your life? In what ways? How do you aply to your routine and daily life?

Dont know if i am explaining very well what i pretend with my question.

For example, lets suppose that instead of AP we were speaking about physical excercise, lets say "squash". In my life, when i come home about 7:30 i feel tired (in my mind) so i will play some squash to leave stress. I will do it for some time (20-30 minutes, if i come early it will be more time).

I dont play it alone, but with my cousin that its in home by that time and always ready to play.

Do you see now my question?  Ok, you can start answering now, but you need to know one of the reasons i am asking this:
i dont see how to put AP as part of my life (i dont AP too...dont have time to learn), because AP in my life will only have results while in hypnagogic states. That means that i can only AP at night (even so, at night i must do some "home-work") while in the bed. But i have insomnias, so will need that time to sleep...besides, i dont like AP at night...its dark (i know that its ridiculous saying that, i dont fear dark but i fear dark while AP).

Do u see my dillema? So, if you speak about your life, mabe i can get some hints to my own.

I try to AP every night, but only usually succeed  2 times a week.  If you fear the dark, get a night light.  I know it sounds childish, but I had the same problem.  I would leave my body and be plunged into a really dark scary scenario, and I would freak out and return to my body.  I got my name from my night light, it is actually shaped like a medieval knight, his name is Sigmund and he whips the crap out of any negative entities that come into my room.  When you AP you are sleeping, I usually sleep better when I AP, and feel more awake during the day.  It will not hurt your sleep.

btw, what technique do you use for AP? sleep paralysis, hypanagogic state? wich one?

When you get sleep paralysis, just try to AP. It's better than doing nothing and waiting for it to wear off, and it gives you a free shot at APing basically.

I know, but from what i could see (i am keeping a sleep - not dream - journal to control my insomnias) sleep paralysis its not very common: i have maybe 1 or 2 per month.

I dont use one specific technique.  I get deep into the mind awake body asleep state, trance out hard core, and just try whatever I feel like.  I dont really have one I use all the time.  I have had the best results when I have put my astral body laying acrossed my physical body, like a cross.  I just feel myself turning and feel the resistance as my astral body turns to that position.  Its not easy to explain, but if I dont get out then, I fall asleep and either have one hell of a lucid dream or project after I am asleep.  I would also begin to do the NEW energy system, which I believe can be found in the FAQ's or in energy developement section.
