If it happened, and it is in the past so it cannot be changed, then does it really matter if it was suppose to happen or not?
Mistakes are just lessons from which we should learn.
I think things happen for a reason. I have heard so many old people say that bad things that happened to them when they were young changed their lives forever, and that they are glad they happened. We never can see the big picture until we look back.
you really think everything that happens was meant to happen
No. Flip a coin and see how meant it was for it to land one way or the other. Throw it really high and spin it. The smallest adjustment of your throwing changes which side it lands on. If one thing is controlled, many other things change in a way that was not intended. "Chaos theory".
I think anything that happens is just God interacting with itself.
Hi God. I'm God. I just saw God around the corner and he said hi.
Muahaha! Hahah! Haa! Hahahahahaha! Harty-har-har, matey!
"We just passed now."
"When?"
"Just then!"
"But when will THEN be NOW?"
"Soon."
Sorry, I get a kick out of that scene. Aaaaaanyway, getting back on topic, you're right on the money, Beavis.
Uhuh. Definitely to some extent, thinks happen for a reason, usually to teach you. Unfortunately learning sucks. I've recently met this girl, who I have a pretty good hunch is my soulmate, just out of the sheer number of coincidences I couldn't begin to state. Yea, a lot of people think a soulmate is this person who instantly falls in love with you, yea, kinda true, but the main thing is they teach you lessons. In a course of about two months, she's opened my eyes to about every single fault in me. We used to be lovers, mistakes happened, now we're not talking for a while and going to work on being friends. excrement happens. Learn from it.
Yes I believe everything happens for a reason. Everything is a lesson we are supposed to learn from. Whether or not we actually take the lesson to heart or not is up to us.
Everything in life happens for a reason. Franz Bardon (Czech adept 1909-1958) said: "Life is not a fairground, but a school. Be glad about the good things and learn from the evil things."
Things that seem a mistake, and don't go our way, are like a test that gives us an opportunity to learn. No one is exempt, we all get to take the tests. Consider them an opportunity to strenghthen good attributes.
Thanks for answering people. I think deep down i do think most things happen to teach you a lesson or to get your life to go in a certain direction. But it probably only will make sense when you're older looking back. Im hoping anyway.
Do most of you really think everything that happens was meant to happen. ever feel like some things are a huge mistake?
