 This one just got me good....I'm a teenager of the eighties, and heard this song, literally, a million times. Of course only now I made the connection of the lyric meaning. I was so moved by the song today it brought me to tears! I am stunned, it's like meeting someone again two decades later. For some reason " I will be watching over you" and that whole chorus just tore me up, because I know the " I " is me.
