Hello i know this seems like a silly question but i have been looking high and low on the web but can not find the information i need...Does anyone if OOBE's cause any effect on my blood sugars. I am an insulin dependent Diabetic.

If you don't think that dreams change blood sugar, then OBEs shouldn't either. The two are not so different in nature. While OBEing, however you may consciously try to improve your condition and see what happens.

Now that we have that out of the way, I would expect the effect to be negligible. Now really the only way to know for sure is if a detailed study was performed under laboratory conditions, and that is not going to happen, because barely any serious research at all is done on the subject these days, much less such a specific side-effect.
I would speculate that the effect of projection and projection attempts would be the same effect mild-sleep-loss has on blood-sugar; I find projection for me is like forgoing a bit of sleep, probably for the reason that the conscious mind is allowed to be awake while the body is trying to repair and rejuvenate; If you are attempting this stuff, that is the main cost- an hour or so less sleep on average on attempt nights- so if you have observed that to have an effect on your blood sugar, then that would be the indicator and parallel to me.
I guess this is something you have to play by ear and judge the effects for yourself, because there is little to no knowledge out there on the facts of this situation. A good rule of thumb in these cases is if you find it to have negative effects on your body, discontinue. But I expect you should be fine!

But in all fairness there could be a Diabetic on this forum which could pass on personal knowledge of maybe consistent blood sugar changes and i thought it would be at least a possibility to receive a response. As mental stress and anxiety can drop your sugars. Of course i still appreciate your response :)

When you get to an alter state of conscious /deep medatiton you can get in to your subconscious and see whet is causing any health problems . One would need to play with the different methods and see what worked for them . I am not trying to shift responsibilities on to others, I am simply doing the cautious approach and protecting my health and thought someone maybe able to shed some light on any effect regarding Diabetes and if it can cause hypoglycemia as i have researched the web and come across close to nothing on the subject. Healing Isn't really the kind of process i am looking for but will make sure to give it a read.

I'd seek professional advice or use the sugar tester every morning and note the results. Compare these against an action packed dream and a no dream recall nights sleep.
If there's a difference that could prove troublesome take the steps necessary.
Its your health that matters.
I'm also a diabetic that uses insulin, when doing astral travel it won't effect the blood sugar but for me I make sure when I astral after I take my insulin shot because while in that state of AP you dont want your blood sugar to drop.
So test your blood sugar before you do the astral and the time you took your insulin shot. Hope this helps.
