Having never been there, I can only answer based on what I've heard from others, so it might not be accurate.

The symbolism thing, I don't think it's like chinese symbols, but more like symbolism you find in art. Like painting, or literary allegories and metaphors. That kind of symbolism.

The library, being the in the Astral, has to it a bit of subjectiveness to it, like everything else, so it kinda takes the appearance you want to give it. If you think of a traditional library, or local library, it might look like that. If you think of the Star Ship Enterprise D, it might look like that.

I don't follow this question... I guess the media would be the Astral? It might even be it's own plane that people just get to through the Astral...

Well, if you remember the stuff in it, of course you can take thigns from it, but it's not like you waltz on in, whip out your library card and go "yes, I'd like to check out this book on dinosaurs."

I thank you for that Riso, I think even with the vagueness and ever-changing nature of things that some stuff may never be known about "how it works". What do you mean about Alexandria though, Logic? I think it would contain MORE info than that famous icon ever had.

Anyways, if it's changing just like everything else, what about it sets it out to make you KNOW it's the library? Are there more libraries like it on higher planes as well?

Beats the heck out of me. I just know someone mentioned it for looking up information. They said that they had done this for Hitler and some other stuff too, if I remember the post correctly.

lol @ logic... pretty funny. akashic is supposed to be the 5 th element in some wiccan culture.
Akashic=spirit energy=ethereal= aether energy... all those things have defined akashic before. theres another one too, nbut i cant seem to recall at the time

This seems like a very interesting topic to me, I don't know why. Could anyone add some comments regarding this place?

So far I know this:
The Library, known as Akashic Records, is in the Astral Plane
The Language that the material in there is written(?) in is symbols (now not considered likened to the eastern languages).

Questions I pose to you off the top of my head:
What does this library look like?
-so far it looks like what you want it to
What media is the material in?
-made up of astral energy
How long has it been there?
-unknown
Who can add or take away info from it?
-anyone, WITHOUT a library card! [
