They are two forms of existence. One is embedded in silicon. The other I'm not so sure about.

This is actually fairly interesting if you think about it. If you think of the digital world is just another world, all sorts of issues arise. we are essentially God to this world, we created it, we can find out anything about it, and (with the proper tools) we have complete power over it.

Also, think about evolution, how different programs have gotten more advanced, just like creatures in this world.

The question in my mind, however, is that if us in our world are gods to the digital world, who in what world is god to us?

is the digital world "alive" though ? If not, we can't really class ourselves as gods.

Otherwise, you might as well say, "I'm god to that sandcastle over there, I just created it."

or, "I'm god to that glass of water I just poured!"

Once people develope a working learning AI equal or superior to the human brain, I will call them a God.

This would be biblical god, not 'I am the god of my own life' which I hope to aspire to as many left hand pathists.

concerning being a god...who made the word or term God? whatever they meat is what it is and others may have developed a different idea over centuries.  then again in the bible we are called children of God,  i think of it like a last name, son of a smith is still a smith. child of God is still a God, with of course one above us, which can help us to be humble in sight the Father's works and deeds( i.e.keeping humble and not attempting to hold that status above another person when we are all children of God), yet feel spiritually aware and confident, a great mix when meditating and living.
