Has astral projection changed your life? Could you see life without projection? would you be who you are now if you had not found this ability?
For me i have defiantly changed from being a atheist to becoming a very spiritual being and astral projection has defiantly opened me to who i am today!

It's all I have known since I was 11/12... throughout my adolescence and into adulthood. I can't imagine who I would be or how I would operate in this life.

I started my night journeys before I started school. A few years later around 13 it expanded into knowing things before they occured. Around the same time I could influence things, amusingly too. Also clairvoyant dreams started and took control of everything I was. Retrievals came along shortly after and grew in complexity to massive proportions by typical reads of many books.
It's changed everything and was meant to be.
I just hate the blank times, you feel lost...

I was the opposite. I was a God fearing Christian until I had my first spontaneous OOBE. That was 12 years ago and I dropped the belief a long time ago but I have only recently admitted it. I no longer believe in a single creator or source but instead that we are all a part of this. Sort of like a joint operation. I'm not saying that we are all Gods only that there is no God in the usual sense.

I think the goal is for every consciousness to continually evolve. There is no single greater power it's just that some are a little better at learning and this can change as well.

In short, I no longer worry about damnation and hellfire silliness. I''m actually happy.

Excellent and so it should  :-) too many get caught up in the fear based aspect of it. Blessings.

I remember coming across books when I was little. So many different topics ranging from mythical creatures, to psychic abilities, to OBE. I remember looking through the pictures (I was really slow to learn how to read) and thinking about how cool it would be. Even though I didn't start really exploring OBEs and the surrounding terminology until the past year (25 now), I've always been very connected to the non physical. I would explore it through dreams and lucid dreaming all the time. It was funny to find that even though I had never been formally introduced, there was such a feeling of sync with everything I've learned. It's always influenced me from the core of my being.

I'm amazed at how much more is opening up to me now that I acknowledge what I'm seeing.

I know what people are about to say when they start a conversation. I'm not talking about the gist but the actual words with very few differences. This has happened twice in the last week. I also had a remote viewing that I was able to verify the next day. Too cool.

I'm trying to understand too much at once but this stuff is kind of just flooding me.

Indeed it has. First, I started receiving telepathic messages through my dreams. I became more and more psychic and started to have dream scenarios that later appeared in life. I've developed spiritual bonds with people, especially via dreaming.

One night, my third eye opened when I was 14 or so. I had a false awakening that turned into a lucid dream, which turned into me waking up in REM with sleep paralysis for the first time ever. I've heard of the phenomena seeing as I was always interested in the metaphysical as a child. Since then, I started getting more and more lucid dreams and false awakenings. There was major third eye stuff going on, it was great. Soon after, I was able to astrally project through my dreams and shed my dream body for my astral body. Soon after, and more recently, I was able to project through deep thought and meditation. My consciousness is forever expanding, constantly, and I feel blessed to have experienced being awake on the astral plane, yes.  :-D *chokes up*

My sentiments exactly.
