astral qwestions

got a questions can we open astral portals in the astral world linking to other dimensions or even  other worlds and have it like a two way thing (if anyone watch the space channel and watches stargate sg-1 you would probably get what i mean)  so that is my question

Translation:
Is it possible to open portals between the physical and the astral? A good example for me would be something like in the Stargate series, seen on Scifi (not the space channel).

My answer:
To me, I think anything is possible if you want to dedicate a lot of time and patience to it, possibly several lifetimes if you believe in reincarnation. On the other hand, you could just be dreaming again.
