Title: being back after some time
Post by: Bloodshadow on May 08, 2016, 00:49:09
well I'm not sure if the site was down or not, but during the course of a few months I was unable to come to the site, every time I did try, it would say no internet connection, when in fact I did have one, this was the only site it would say that to. was anyone else having this problem? was I banned for a time or something, although I never did the site any harm? but my guess is I was the only one experiencing this technical difficulty, because when I came back today I had a lot of unread messages, meaning someone was making it through to the site. I would like any feedback if any

I haven't had any difficulty here on my end. Maybe your IP got banned on accident then your IP changed. Sometimes sites blanket ban a certain range of IPs.

Relax, everything is fine.  :-)
I experienced this same problem months ago, and admitedly, I even became a bit paranoid. I then learned there was no need.
The whole nonsense came to an end after I took the time to actually look out the problem on google.
You must have a router connection where you log in either through your personal computer, mobile phone, or any other gadget.
When you do this simultaneously to a site over a span of time your router will ban/block the IP of the site you tend to do this because it's some protection parameter.
i.e.: you could have an invited guest logging to your e-mail in a computer with saved password while you are actually logged in, in another device, so the server would prevent this from happening, this is what your router and even web pages do.
Someone must have hard-reseted the router and this fixed the problem. The messages are maybe just late replies from users here. Some (I am one among them some times) do it all the time.
Hope that helps. :-D
