Hello
My name is Nick and I have recently become aware that these clear dreams that I occasionally have are in fact Lucid dreams or even Astral projections. I seem to have only a couple each year but these dreams are more clear than at anytime I'm awake.....for instance only 3 nights ago I fell into this dream where I was stood outside a house (don't know who's) I could see so much more clearly (not that I have bad eyesight).
Nothing really happens in these dreams except that I'm totally aware that I'm dreaming. I tend to look around at things and I always feel totally invigorated.
However with this last dream I consciously participated in a test that the American Jerry Goss reccommended which swas to walk up to a wall a press on it with my hand........and wow......Just like Jerry said it would my hand went into the wall only for me to feel pins ans needles in that hand but nothing really uncomfortable. As I did this I looked at the front door to this house and noticed every little thing about it.
Unfortunately these instances never last longer than about 5 minutes....I always want to explore more and have heard about people who can induce these experiance and go to much higher levels than I am doing right now.
Could someone tell me what it is that's happening to me and possibly point me in the right direction to further with this wonderful experiance.
I'd like to be in contact with likeminded people who could possibly mentor me into really living life to the full as I havn't been of late.

I look forward to making friends on this sight

Loving regards

Nick - York, England

The Present Moment

Take a look at the threads in the Permanent Topics and FAQ sections for a start.

When you have these lucid dreams, keep a little journal about how you slept that night. They happen for me when I wake up in the night and return to sleep, usually 3-4 hours before I'll be waking in the morning. Some people set their alarm early or drink a lot of water so that they'll wake before their usual time. The journal will help you figure out what time is best for you.
