Title: Colloidal silver
Post by: Grendel on July 26, 2002, 17:08:25
My Mom actually makes it and sells it.  I've heard people claim that it heals everything from cuts and burns to cancer.  I've really never seen it work though.  I've read a few things that say any effect that people see is purely a placebo effect.  And in a few rare cases, it can actually HURT you.  (One woman after using it in a nasal spray, eventually started to turn silvery colored, due to silver deposits in her system.  There's actually a name for the condition, which I currently forget.)

In any event, here's a link to some info on it.  It's pretty slanted against it, but it has many useful references.  Hope this helps.

Hi there,
this is Sav and I am on (mesosilver).........Yes it works and I'm not a silver alien....I bought it to cure ringworm on my arms........fabulous product, just watch who you buy from.I did alot of research on it before purchasing.I beleave it to be a welcome change from the horrible antibiotics which I refuse to take...Those are worse for you than silvercolloid in my opinion.

Hope this helps..........click on your search machine and type in Mesosilver.

Recently I bought instructions on making colloidal silver. It said that it basically involved 27 volts direct current through pure silver electrodes stuck an inch apart (2.54 cm) in water. I read that 10 minutes is enough. As to the purity of the silver required, that is not clear to me. Nor do I know how pure the water must be, because if it is too pure it might not conduct enough electricity.

Has anyone here tried using colloidal silver for anything? Does it really work as well as the claims about it say?
